We had a great experience here for my son's 11th birthday with 6 of his friends and all his friends had a blast. We got the package were everyone plays all together in the large room, we had a break where we ate and hung out in the Event Room in between, then finished up in groups of 4 playing several mini games in the smaller arenas. The owner was incredibly attentive to what we wanted for our party. She was so patient with the boys and the staff knew how to engage with them. They even helped with cleaning up at the end. What I really liked was the location being in closer proximity, as the next closest VR place was in Mission Valley and I wasn't comfortable taking his classmates that far. We brought our own food and drinks, and they had a fridge for us to keep our cake. I like that they had fun mini games and not just scary zombie games :). The smaller games were like cooking, archery, dancing, and sports. It might take a bit of time to learn the terms for non-VR people, i.e. Zero Latency means the largest arena, Hologate means the smaller arena for 4 people. If you're not familiar with those terms it will be foreign when trying to choose packages. Staff was very helpful, friendly, and the...

Zero Latency VR Review: A Realistic and Immersive Experience

Zero Latency VR offers an incredibly immersive experience that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a different world. From the moment you gear up, you’re transported into a dystopian battlefield where every step, shot, and decision matters.

The free-roam setup allows you to walk, dodge, and strategize with your team in real time, making the experience feel natural and engaging. The mechanics are smooth, and the level of realism is impressive. Facing down hordes of zombies, landing headshots, and working with your team to find the cure all add to the depth of the game.

What makes it stand out is the storyline. You’re not just playing for points—you’re fighting to survive and uncover a cure, making every action feel meaningful. Whether you’re sniping from a distance or engaging in close-quarters combat, the experience is both fun and rewarding.

Overall, Zero Latency VR is a must-try for anyone who enjoys immersive gameplay. It brings apocalyptic scenarios to life in a way that feels real, making it a unique and...

We recently hosted my son’s 13th birthday party at San Diego VR, and it was absolutely fantastic! The space was modern, clean, and well-designed, with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the immersive VR experiences. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure the kids had a blast and that everything ran smoothly. Ashwini was just amazing. She was so awesome and accommodating. She was on her toes all the time making sure the kids have an amazing experience. Thank you so much for everything Ashwini !!

The variety of games and experiences offered kept all the guests entertained, and even us parents, who were so hesitant to try out VR games, ended up playing VR games, and it was just amazing. I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did. The equipment was top-notch, and the party package was well worth the value.

Our son and his friends haven’t stopped talking about how much fun they had! If you're looking for a unique and exciting place for a party, don’t think twice, San Diego VR is the perfect...

We brought our twin 11 yo boys to SDVR with 6 other friends for a birthday. First of all, their communication to figure out what package would be best, was top notch! They followed up with me via email and phone to make sure I got everything answered. When we got there, the place was clean and set up well. The game master and manager handled 8 excited boys with ease and kept them focused and engaged to learn rules. There was a screen in lobby area that allowed us to see what the kids were seeing, as well as a window so we could watch. The games were appropriate, fun and exactly what my boys wanted. They had a great party room if you wanted to eat or do cake. There was also snacks, water and drinks available for purchase. Thanks for a great party!

Couldn't tell this place has only been open for 3 months since it seems well established. Staff gave us a tour of the area/VR experiences and was very knowledgeable and concise when explaining all the games available. The area is well maintained and clean, big plus that the restroom was immaculate. We chose to play Space Marine in the Zero Latency room which was definitely the best experience. The game was super fun and it was great that our group could roam freely without worrying about bumping into things. All around a great experience if you want something fun to do with friends.

We returned to San Diego VR after getting hooked on their escape room—and this time we booked the birthday package. It was totally worth it! The kids got tons of game time, roaming the big room and working together as a team. We had a break for food in the party room we rented, and then they got more game time after that. The staff here is super friendly, patient, and welcoming, which makes it even better. We were able to sit back, get the room ready, and watch the kids have a blast. All the kids absolutely loved it! We’ll definitely be back again!
