Let me start by saying,"I'm sorry" for the long break from reviews. I had to have a few surgeries but I am on the road to recovery!! I wondered to myself what would I observe or experience to bring me out of my catatonic state in the land of reviews. That honor or lack of (I'll let you be the judge)falls squarely on the shoulders of the Jack in the Box on the corner of El Cajon and Euclid. I frequently go to this Jack because I stay around the corner so I considered it one of my neighborhood joints. As I stated earlier I've been sidelined for a long period of time so I frequently find myself at Jack's spot. That's why with a heavy heart I can say today was the last time I will every eat at ANY JACK IN THE BOX EVER AGAIN!!!! My reasons are many. Let's start with the MEXICANS ONLY BATHROOM yes it's true. I've witnessed it with my own eyes the staff allow the use of one bathroom for just staff and there family and friends or Hispanic people. I've never seen a African-American or African allowed in that bathroom regardless if they have a child or there disabled. The answer is always it's out of service. The second unbelievable scam they run is they stopped accepting EBT at the beginning of December. The reason being the system is down, which is a blatant lie. I understand that it's your right if you as a company allow the use of EBT or not but at the very least stand by your convictions. Don't tell the customers the system is down but tell your new hires it's because all the blacks use EBT and they don't know how to act. Just tell them the system is down. By the way that's a conversation I myself overheard. Those are just two of the many wrongs that need to be made right!!! As far as my last Jack meal goes it was pretty darn good even though I walked to the University Chain which isn't just around the corner but the walk was worth it and the milkshake was damn 👍 good!!!! Man I sure am going miss those...
Read moreThe manager, she said her name was Claudia who works the graveyard shift on Saturday mornings around 2am is a little unprofessional. I drove through the drive-thru with my own personal E Scooter which I use for transportation to better the Earth's environment from pollution and gas fumes. She asked for my order, then ignored me. I said hello, still got ignored. I thought she may have not heard me so I pull up to the drive-thru counter window. She rudely greeted me stating they do not take orders from people on scooters. Never heard of this law in California. I've been to a few fast food places, Mcdonald's, Wendy's, Jack in The Box in other area's of San Diego, Subway, Taco Shop & Sonic's drive thru's.. They've always allowed me to still order food.. If this particular Jack in the Box on El Cajon Blvd does not accept orders from people on E-scooters, why do I always see them accept orders from drug addicts and people under the influence, and their neighborhood friends? I see them from my apartment window, walk up to their drive thru window late at night, tap on the window, they'll open it & let them order. Honestly feels like Discrimination... Very discourteous, inconsiderate and impolite management customer service skills. She didn't even want to tell me her name which is very unprofessional. This location is way different from other locations. Try not to waste your time.. Very rude and...
