Kabob Lounge — Restaurant in San Diego

I’ve frequently dined at Kabob Lounge with my family, and I was initially excited about this local spot when it first opened. I loved their food and was enthusiastic about supporting a new local business.

However, recent experiences have been disappointing. During my first visit, the Beef Shish Kabob was unfortunately too chewy to eat. Hoping for better results, I tried the Ground Sirloin Kabob—one of my favorites from their early days—but it did not meet expectations. This led me to return to Panini for my kebab fix.

Another concern is the pricing. Kabob Lounge has been increasing its prices, yet the quality has been inconsistent. For example, the Persian pizza is now priced at $24.99, and the Ground Sirloin Kabob costs more than at Panini by a few dollars. Given that Kabob Lounge is located outside of a major shopping center, where rent and overhead costs are typically lower, it’s puzzling that their prices are higher compared to other local options like Panini. Industry trends suggest that price increases should correspond with improved quality, but this has not been the case here.

I genuinely wanted Kabob Lounge to succeed, and I appreciated their food when they first opened. However, these repeated issues have led me to reconsider my patronage. I hope Kabob Lounge addresses these concerns and makes improvements. For now, I cannot...

Outstanding Experience at Kabob Lounge!

I recently dined at Kabob Lounge, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment I entered, I was welcomed with warm and friendly service that set the tone for the evening.

The food was simply outstanding. Each dish was prepared with great care, featuring perfectly grilled kabobs that were tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The variety of dishes offered something for everyone, and the flavors were authentic and incredibly satisfying. The sides were equally delicious, complementing the main dishes perfectly.

The ambiance at Kabob Lounge was also exceptional—cozy, inviting, and beautifully decorated, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect, offering great recommendations and providing attentive service throughout the evening.

Overall, Kabob Lounge exceeded all my expectations. Whether you're a fan of kabobs or just looking for an excellent dining experience, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. I can't wait to return and enjoy another...

I ordered from this restaurant yesterday for the 1st time, my order was through grubHub, the delivery guy did an amazing service, I received my food bag as I instructed the delivery person. After I opened my food I looked everywhere for the plastic utensils set, couldn’t find any!!!! I’m starving and waiting to eat my meal which I paid 49.77 for and it wasn’t that great either! I called the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager, he answered me and I was so frustrated, I told him that I couldn’t find anything to use to eat my food, his answer was yes because you ordered online and that’s not including the plastic utensils set!!!! He literally said the eating plastic utensils are not included in the online purchase through grubHub which did not make any sense to me so I asked him to refund my money because there not point of me ordering food that I can’t eat, he refused to do that and instead of calming me down and understanding my frustration he started yelling at me!!!
