What a surprise! This is not your normal coffee shop located in an office building. It has indoor seating that can easily fit 50+ people. They have a beautiful outdoor patio that can fit another 40 people. I see a sign here at my table, that says you can even have an event here that they will host for you. In addition to Coffee and espresso, they serve beer and wine, as well as smoothies and organic juices. I had about three hours to kill between meetings and wanted to try something other than the usual coffee houses and this was a wonderful surprise. In summary, this is a great meet up location with lots of private, intimate seating areas and as I’m posting this, I’m watching one of the employees meticulously arrange flowers on the counter as an added little welcoming touch. Oh, I had their house coffee, and it was fabulous. Enjoy!

This was our first time in this cafe. I saw that they have sisig burrito and was curious how it would turn out. I’m Filipino and know what authentic sisig should taste like. Me and my husband were surprised how tasty the food is. Although it wasn’t the traditional sisig, it was still very delicious! It’s more like beef fried rice with fried egg wrapped in a tortilla. To be honest, I don’t know how it would turn out if it has the sour taste to it. We loved and enjoyed every bite of it. Ask for the vinegar to dip it in. Try it! You will not regret it! We would definitely come back the next time we’re in town.

So glad I found this place!! You would never know such a gem was on the back side of an office building but this place is awesome! Super beautiful patio, music, comfortable seating and great atmosphere. And the FOOD!!! Literally the best Avocado toast I've ever had and the coffee was amazing. I will definitely be making this place a regular stop especially with how good the prices are. Highly recommend checking this place out. When you walk into the office building and out the other side you will be pleasantly surprised! (I came near the end of the day so the patio was empty - perfect for pictures! )

Located in Carmel Valley on the ground floor of an office building in an office park is TOAST Café. I have seen other locations in Los Angeles called Toast, but I am not sure if they are the same owner or not. They have a very similar menu though. It’s basically a café with limited food and drink options although everything is high-quality. It’s not a traditional full-service restaurant, but we still had a nice experience. You order at the counter and then they give you a number and then bring it to your table. They have a handful of food options, but none are large portions. They have a very eclectic menu with Filipino, Turkish, and other traditional American options. Being in an office park, there is plenty of parking so finding a spot will never be an issue. The woman behind the counter was extremely polite, and all of our items arrived quickly. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but on this cold December morning, everyone was seated indoors, which is where we sat as well.

Given the limited menu, I did not have many options, but for my breakfast I chose a Caramel Latte, which was very good and strong, just how I like it, and the Breakfast Sandwich with bacon added. The sandwich was very filling with plenty of egg and cheese and I overall really enjoyed it. I wish the menu would have more options, but given that it’s a café I understand they have a limited kitchen and staff to fulfill larger types of orders. It is fairly priced though and overall I would recommend, especially if you are...

This locally sourced eatery is a terrific place and no doubt a hidden gem in San Diego.

I stopped in for breakfast and ordered the breakfast sandwich, which came with three cage free eggs, sharp white cheddar, arugula, a chipotle aioli, on toasted brioche buns. You can add Nueske bacon to the sandwich for an extra fee.

I loved that they used a soft scramble for their egg preparation. They did a great job on the eggs. They were light and fluffy. The eggs were very tasty, and the thick cut bacon was very flavorful and had a good chew. I loved that they took the time to toast the brioche buns. The aioli was tasty, the arugula peppery, and the white cheddar had a touch of sharpness.

I had a cortado with my breakfast, and it was great. They offer a quality Italian roast. The cafe offers inside and outside seating. They also have grown many of the herbs they use on the premise. They offer great...

After a business meeting in the area my coworker and I decided to stop by here to grab a bite to eat. We were pretty hungry and didn't want to look around too far. Plus toast Cafe had some spectacular reviews. We walked in at around 1:30 and the cafe had a few tables occupied. We were ready to eat so we walked up to the counter and was greeted by a very friendly cashier. We decided to share a farmer's market salad. I got myself a breakfast sandwich and my coworker got the fried chicken sandwich. Wow everything is delicious and tasted real good. My breakfast sandwich came with the most perfect scrambled egg. My coworker said that this sandwich reminded her of what her grandma used to make so she loved it. What a great place. The food was good and the decor here is very nice. It's modern looking and didn't feel like a regular Cafe. Will definitely be back next time our meeting is...
