Stopped here on the way back to Temecula after a day at Balboa Park and museums. Wanted something good, off the busier paths and easy freeway access with parking. We got what we were looking for and more. Great service, friendly and was really quiet at first, got really busy but not overcrowded. The place including bathrooms were clean. Fun artwork and NY displays including a mural of Long Island. The best thing was buying by the slice! With two young nephews and a husband - all with different pizza 🍕 likes and dislikes - it’s hard to agree on a pie. This wrapped it all up and the combos added a drink too. Everyone got their choice (there is a lot of choice and they’ll make a pie to order if ya want) and they loved it! The slices are big and the crispy crust isn’t just on the edges! That is such an important part of a good slice! Soggy slices suck- but no worries here! 🤘 Great prices too. My husband is a NY native and was so pleased to find a real white pizza slice - not just some Alfredo sauce attempt with a basil leaf on top 😂 (finding good pizza is hard sometimes). I loved that the condiments included more than Parmesan and Crushed Red Pepper- they also had salt, pepper, oregano shake and crushed garlic. Yummy 😋 Much more than we expected and so glad to know where they are! The boys reminded me they are right on the way to SD airport, right off of 15. Easy on and off. Stop in and grab a slice.

I'm from central Islip long island and this pizza does not taste like NY style pizza good try but you come shirt of NY style pizza knockout pizza in Mira Mesa now taste like NY pizza from the crust to the sauce yeah now that reminds me of NY from the the freshly crushed by hand tomatoes straight on the pie to the good cheese to the bubbles on the crust now that's a good pizza joint knockout pizza the garlic knots where far from garlic Knotts just baked dough with a hint of garlic decent place long island Mike's you might fool people from here but real new Yorkers know pizza and this ain't it you want real NY pizza knock out is the place

Pizza is okay. It’s definitely NY style pizza. Being from New England I can confirm that. However my husband and I got take out from here and the pepperoni pizza was very greasy. Like sopping wet and I like my grease. Integral part of a good pizza. Just too much of a good thing in this case. The Buffalo chicken was good but I’ve had better locally. I’ve heard their Sicilian is good but we didn’t try it so I can’t comment. This might be a better joint for slices in person than whole pies at home. The prices were great and the person on the phone was really nice.

Dear owner of Long Island Mike's Pizza, I really hope you read this review and take some action. First of all your gluten free pizzas are amazing, the quality of your pizza and other food items are exceptional. I have been a happy customer for a long time now and always have recommended you to so many people. Unfortunately, today when I called in an order to go which was a gluten free pizza and a calzone I was told that the price of the pizza is more now and won't honor internet prices. I was understanding and proceeded with the order. When I arrived to pick up my food, I asked a girl over the counter to please wrap the sandwich because it was going to be a while until I get back in the office. Well she rolled her eyes at me and proceeded to the kitchen. She continued to stare at me and started laughing while talking to the guys in the back something about me. After that, I asked her if I can pay via cash and credit because my staff were splitting the bill, she didn't even acknowledge that I was there and just took the money from me. She then quickly left without giving me a chance to ask for plates. The gal next to her was standing there and I asked her if she could please give me the name of her coworker. The gal hesitated and began to walk away until I asked again. She ended up saying that her coworkers name is Liz. I don't know if Liz was having a bad day, or she simply doesn't belong to work in such environment. I am a very kind person, and today I was simply bullied by Liz. Not ever going back and on the side note I was over...

We’ve been coming here for about two years. We try to go at least an hour before closing so they have time to make the pizza if there are none available. Tonight, my husband and I came to order a few slices. I’m vegetarian. When we looked at the selection, all of them contained pork except the cheese. When I asked if they have anything coming up that is just vegetarian, his answer was: “you don’t eat pork??”. I told him no. He said “oh well..”. We walked out and sat in the car for a few minutes and my husband decided to go back in to order two full pies so I can get vege. One and he can get his Hawaiian. When he ordered, the guy made a sarcastic comment to the cooks in the back that ugh we got two new orders while making facial expressions and seemed very bothered. Mind you, we were the only ones in the store. My husband was still looking at the menu when he got asked to have a seat and not stand by the cashier. At that point we realized that we were not welcomed and felt uncomfortable eating anything coming out of that kitchen even though they don’t close for another hour. We asked for a refund and left. Such a...
