This place is probably one of, if not THE best Chinese place me and my wife have ever ate at! Aside from the staff and owner being extremely kind and respectful (the are so nice and always compliment me and my wife when we eat. They make you feel like your friends or family) the food is the some of the freshest and tastiest in San Diego. And that's saying a lot because there are a good amount of amazing Chinese places here. Let's start with the Egg Drop Soup. It doesn't waste it's time with all the vegetables and fixings your find in other restaurants, they get down to business with just eggs and soup. And it's cooked to perfection where you can really taste that chicken broth and it mixes well when you throw in some (a lot) of the crispy won ton chips in. The chicken wings, not as meaty as some places but the batter is fried to perfection and tossed with all the right herbs and spices to give you a little kick and a lot of flavor. The Mongolian beef is one of their most popular dishes. Again another staple to other restaurants but this place just does it so well. And the one dish that me and my wife just love is their Kung Pao Chicken. Cooked with more green onions than you would see than most places, it has a more sweeter taste than what you're probably accustomed to which works well in it's favor. The dish is downright amazing and to top it off they also have a Combo Kung Pao with Shrimp, Beef, Chicken etc. Bottom line: Don't miss out on this place! They also serve sushi as well and I haven't had the chance to try it yet but if it's even remotely as good as their other food, it's...
Read moreI would give 0 star if I can. I was my first time there and last time. The owner was extremely rude. I walked in because of the sign promotion that said 40-50% off. With the small letters said dine-in only. As soon as I walk in the restaurant to ask for a table, they said we’re not doing dine in only doing Togo. I was like ok reasonable. Then the owner(the old lady) was giving attitude because we ask about her promotion discount 40-50% and that it was our first time there. Needless to said she was like yeah WE BEEN HERE A LONG TIME YOU JUST DON’T KNOW ABOUT US. WE ONLY DOING DISCOUNTS FOR DINE-IN. SO I ASK HER WHY PUT THE FALESE ADVERTISING? When you’re not even open for dine in. Then she walk away to go watch her tv.
FIRST impressions was bad. I don’t want to give them money at all. I rather order somewhere else’s. I know we’re in a Pandemic but be nice to your customers because we’re keeping them Afloat. Hope your...
Read moreFood: had the szechuan chicken, delicious. Good blend of spicy and savory. Rice and veggies were also good. The price was well worth the quantity they provided, especially since it was from the lunch menu.
Service: didn't catch her name but the hostess/waiter was very friendly and helped answer questions on the menu. Definitely a people person which is nice to have in a customer service industry.
Atmosphere: it's a small family owned restaurant. Eating area, utensils and bathroom were clean. I don't expect fancy from a small shop so I thought the place was great.
Will definitely come back next time if I fly...
