Robeks Fresh Juices & Smoothies — Restaurant in San Diego

By far one of my most favorite smoothie places! Robeks always hits the spot for me, especially when I finish my work out and need a healthy, not too filling meal!

They have healthy pre/post workout, low calorie, and vegan smoothies, as well as Fresh Squeezed Vegetable Juices!My best friend is a vegan and she usually gets the Evergreen Juice! I am not too fond of vegetable juices but to my suprise... It was delicious!

What's great about Robeks is I don't have to drive far to get delicious Açaí bowls! I have been coming to Robeks for quite some time and just recently they have upgraded their sizes on the bowls, as well as the options! My favorite is the Acai Tropical Mango bowl and the Acai Strawnana Berry Bowl. For the Acai Strawnana Berry Bowl, I usually swap the bananas for scoop of peanut butter on top. Yum! :^) And extra mangoes on top for the Tropical Mango please!

The thing that really sets this location apart from the rest is the staff! With a mix of both male and female employees, I have not met a single staff member who doesn't go above and beyond to make my experience pleasant. I always get greeted with genuine smiles and thanked for my visit. I truly feel appreciated as a customer.

Ordered 2 smoothies, avocado toast, and an açaí bowl. Food was average but smoothies were not good. We could only taste the juice none of the fruit, extremely bland. We asked kindly if they did refunds and after trying to avoid answering he said we could leave our information and he would have the manager contact us, so we did and gave the drinks back.

We were never contacted so we went back into the store today (5 days later) and asked for a manager, and they direct my attention to the same guy as before!? So we told him we were never contacted and all he said was that he will talk to him again about it and he will reach out….We will most likely have to just try and dispute the payment through the bank.

Walked up to order a drink and was greeted with an employee picking their nose at the register. Disgusting and unsanitary. Left after telling the employee how disgusting it was and attempted to call to speak to a manager and was greeted by they aren’t here and informed them that the employee at the front was picking their nose and hung up on me. Went back in to confront the employee who hung up on me to reach a manager and was just told oh he was just rubbing his nose. Mind you the same employee who was picking their nose was making drinks without gloves on. Didn’t want to give me manager info or corporate. So I guess labor and health will have a field day.
