This is a very nice library in a convenient location, friendly staff, quite place to study or read. Good collection of books. I have been visiting there for more than an year and I really like the place. But recently I noticed something extremely unpleasant and will red alert me before finding a table to read my favorite book.

Something stuck on my knees while i was reading and it looked ugly and sticky. Looking at the beaneath of the table I realized there are stuck tens of chewing gums straight from mouths. It was so disgusting and I really felt bad about the public who visit there and behaving irresponsible and causing this public nuisance. It was even more disappointing to see pretty much all of the tables are the same condition!!

I don't know how much the authorities can do about this, but at least displaying a public notice to bring awareness would be a great step.

Otherwise it is a...

I've been a regular visitor to the Mira Mesa Library for quite some time, and there's a lot to appreciate about this place. The collection is fantastic, and it's conveniently located. However, one significant issue that's been bothering me is the noise level. It can get overwhelmingly loud at times, making it challenging to focus and enjoy the library's resources.

While I understand that libraries are evolving spaces and are no longer the complete silence zones they used to be, it would be great if the librarians could do a bit more to manage the noise. Some patrons seem to be unaware of the need for a quieter environment, and it can be distracting.

Overall, it's a good library with excellent resources, but the noise issue could use some attention from the staff to make it an even more enjoyable and productive place...

Today I desperately needed a place to work undisturbed for an hour for two. I arrive at about 2 and stayed till 4:30. It was busy and loud. There was on boy with roller shoes skating all, over the library. At one point he walked up behind me and screamed something in my ear. I was shocked and ignored him in an effort to focus on my work. I have no idea what he said. I would have reprimanded him but I was under deadline and didn't feel it was my place to discipline other people kids. This is my local library but will likely travel to a different branch. So disappointed in my experience...

I visit this library regularly. They have a good collection of books. It's quite spacious which allows you to sit and study. You can enjoy free wifi. Restrooms are not very clean. Staff is very busy and I don't feel like disturbing them by asking for help.

Library is nice. Internet is solid. However, there are very few power outlets and they have these cubicles blocked off, assuming for Covid. If you want to block off chairs, why not those that are close together in the middle of the building.

The building is impressive. The staff are so kind :) You can use laptop on the desk. There has plug individually.
