Starbucks — Restaurant in San Diego

I'm a regular here. Staff is always friendly and it's one of my favorite Starbucks for service.

I wanted to give a shout out to Billy today, because he made my night and I don't think people realize how much the small things mean. I had a 14 hour work day and left pretty late.. I was trying to make it there before they closed to grab some tea. Unfortunately I got there right at closing time. I was pulling through the drive thru when he came on and said he had no problem taking my order and was going to be around for a few more minutes. I know it's not much, but the day drained me and I appreciate the extra time you took to take an order after your long day too. Thank you so much.

I did want to also leave some suggestions for the management team and a bit of criticism that I have toward the location, not the staff. One of the biggest problems with this location is the drive thru routing. Line often backs up to the road and people waiting have to K turn to be able to make the 180 turn into the line. This makes it difficult when other people are coming and going out of the parking lot through that same lane. They really should consider routing cars through the circle k lane to enter and exit for parking and close off the drive thru lane from the parking lot. There have been many near accidents and close calls with pedestrians...

I started writing a review and my phone died. The girl at the drive through window was so insanely rude, i think her name was kacy or something. i went to place an order at the drive through i went up to the window and had her scan my stars. i asked her if i could redeem my 400 stars for a cup and she told me i could come inside to do that. i said never mind she kept pretending to not hear me even though i had someone in the car litterally repeating what i was saying. then she asked me if i wanted to use my stars and i said NO. she then said ok gave me the food before paying and closed the window i was waiting to pay and she rudely opened the window and said did u need a straw or something. i said oh no i was waiting to pay. she used 300/400 of my stars…….. i told her i didnt want her to do that and she argued with me and said that i DID in face tell her to use them when i shook my head no and SAID NO. then it was an inconvenience to her to put them back on my rewards and was so snobby the entire time. this girl should not be in...

This location is inconsistent. You either get scoffed at for asking for your drink stirred or get a good 30 sec conversation while they are making your drink. More inconsistencies include never getting what you requested in your drink or getting the right bagel you asked for. In the mornings it’s impossible for someone to get a bite to eat within 10 mins because there is one person who makes the food. That person is also taking inventory at the same time and the rest of the team will just watch you stand there while you are waiting for you food because the person making the food doesn’t realize there is a ticket up for them to make something.
