I love this place, absolutely love it. There's a reason why I go there, at least twice a week if not more, and it's for their street tacos. I get 3 generally and my go to is 2 chicken and 1 asada, no pico/cilantro, guacamole and cheese only (sometimes adding carrots on the side). I order it sooo many times that the server's in the drive thru pretty much know me. As far as I know. My only issue with them is the final bill. Again I order the same thing almost EVERY time but when it comes to paying it's never consistent. $6.85, $6.86, $4.01(last Tuesday with no copy), $8.48, and tonight $7.92? I've questioned my bill before and was provided a breakdown and even tonight without asking she handed me an itemized copy because she knew that I was wondering what the total would be today. It's a gamble for good food but will be the last time I sit at the card table. Again the food is outstanding just make sure you check your order. From a former loyal customer.

I've gotten carne asada fries from about half of the Mexican restaurants in the city, so that's my benchmark. Unfortunately this one fell flat. Everything was good in it except for the meat. Carne Asada is 2/3 of the name of the dish, so needs to stand out. They do a fine chop of the meat into about 1/4 cubes. You want the longer strands of meat to bite into. But the worst part was the gristle. Very fatty meat. Some of the cubes were just all gristle, no meat to be found. I had to spit out a few of those, it was just entirely unappetizing. I would stay away from the carne asada, or head to one of the maaaaaany other options in the area.

First time here, was looking for a taco shop around University Ave and found this place. I always try the beef tacos at new places and these were pretty good. Taco shel was crunchy, meat was good but wasn't really shredded, more of big chunks of meat. Overall it was good. Also tried the Al pastor street tacos, very greasy but good! My girl always tries the rolled tacos at new places and she liked it. Their salsa Verde is great!! I believe they have 99 cent tacos on Tuesday so be sure to check them out. Cons: 99 cents for carrots, napkins, forks and spoons are behind the counter.

I went to this place after seeing their post in a Facebook group. There were less than 10 customers at the place. Ordered street tacos, California burrito with grilled chicken, taco salad to go. I ended up eating the Street tacos there while waiting for the rest of my order. Tacos were bland - meat on the Al pastor was thin and dry. California burrito was made with Carne Asada which was almost as tough as jerky instead of the chicken which I asked for. I think they put some sort of Chipotle sauce in there which ended up breaking because of the temperature of the burrito. There was grease/oil dripping down the bottom of the burrito as I was trying to eat it. The whole thing was a disgusting mess. I trashed it after eating halfway through. No idea on the Taco salad since it wasn't for me.

20 minutes in after I put in my order, a cook came and asked me what I ordered and after answering him he started cooking my order. Order was called out partial and I had to remind the cashier that it was to go and needed the rest of the items I ordered.

Worst of all, the cook was walking around talking to friends/co-worker as I was waiting for my order to get done. Unfortunately I have nothing good to say about this place. You'd think the sign "under new management" would bring better food or at least some sense of urgency but none of the two were observed during my visit. Thumbs down for sure. I don't see this place lasting long if they don't get...

Went here for the first time and the customer service was awful. I went through the drive thru and had to say “hello” multiple times. It probably took like 3 minutes just to order a burrito. When I got to the window and paid, I noticed a 50 cent charge on my receipt. Nowhere on the menu, nor at the window did it mention the charge, and the girl who rung me up (I believe her name is Yesenia??) didn’t notify me of it either. When I asked her where it says that there’s a charge, she told me that it’s inside of the restaurant (but I ordered at the drive thru??) and she told me that EVERY public place has this kind of charge (no, not every place has it). She proceeded to tell me that all customers know of their charge and that she doesn’t need to tell customers about it when they order (these are her exact words) even though I told her it was my first time here. She was so rude and I will not be back here. Bottom line: The customer service is terrible and the food is average. I would suggest going to Los Tito’s because they’re open 24/7 and have much better food for...
