We are visiting our children from out-of-state and and wanted a place to practice pickleball drills. We Googled “pickleball courts near me.” This park presented itself and seemed promising! However, once we arrived, we discovered that these are not PB courts. None of the tennis courts were lined for PB either. The courts were empty so we rallied for a bit. However, there was a fine layer of sand coating the ball; clothing and some debris littered the ground. There were also unhoused citizens living up against the fence. While the park is large and beautiful, we will look elsewhere for dedicated pickleball courts.
