Brother Ahmed, I came in with my sister about two weeks ago and bought 10 pounds of goat meat from you for the first time. Even though your shop is out of my way, I’m so glad I made the trip.

You were friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to. It’s clear you work very hard and take pride in what you do. The quality of the meat is outstanding. My whole family has been enjoying it. Just as you promised, it had no smell or aftertaste, and I didn’t need to wash it with extra lemon or vinegar like I usually have to do with most halal meat I find here in San Diego.

The two stars are for these reasons:

1. Poor customer service. Unfriendly, not nice to everyone.
2. High prices for most items.
3. Some items are not fresh; some are frozen like chicken and lamb.
4. If you ask for a few pounds of meat they'll sell you double or more, not exactly what you need.
5. The receipt doesn't show exactly what you have purchased, e.g., the type of the item and name.
6. The store is very small and not clean.
7. Parking is bad and small.
8. They're not always following the COVID-19 guidelines, like wearing masks and social distancing.

This is a whole animal butchery, and they source all their animals locally. I usually buy ribeye and T-bone steaks and the cow was raised in riverside or Sacramento.
