The cashier is very unfriendly she told me not to watch the guy making my sandwich I wanted to make sure he wasn't put an eggplant on it I asked for a veggie sandwich substitute the eggplant for mushrooms and he put eggplant on it so she told him no eggplant and walked away then he's making my sandwich and he gets a phone call he answers the phone mean while he's already not using gloves so skeptical of being food poisoned I asked him to put regular onions on my sandwich when it comes to making my food especially if they seem like they're inexperience and don't have a food handling course it's obvious he doesn't have one cuz he continue to not want to use gloves he thought washing his hands real quick with water was good enough I went there and got a pizza slice replace that was not taken right they gave me a pepperoni and mushroom pizza instead of a chicken and mushroom pizza so they gave me a free slice in their system so whenever I go back there were no when I called in the order the lady asked my phone number and she told me yes you have a free slice they made the slice it was burnt the second slice it was doey the door was not well done they precooked their pizza and however it's sitting there so they have to overcook it so she said well what do you want off the menu or sandwich or something else that was on the smaller side left side of the menu I picked the veggie sandwich and overall I tasted the pizza that was burnt that was better than the sandwich and the pizza the best time for anyone to go there is on a Monday when the pizza is fresh out the oven and it's all you can eat other than that don't expect to get good service I don't know who all these people are there but it was very good not for being friendly or nothing else.. I ended up so sick for the rest of the day one hour after I took a few bites. I guess they are cook tomato basil sauce n veggies I will never go back there again poor...
Read moreTl;dr. I was racially profiled here and assumed to be an incompetent driver trying to "steal" food even though I said multiple times I was not and my order reciept clearly showed that it was a pick up order and I had order confirmation and payment.
I came to this location to simply pick up the food my cousin and I ordered.
The first thing I did was say 👋🏿 I have a pick up order. Showed my order confirmation that was paid for. She asked the name. I told her. Its also a very distinct name.
For the next almost 15 minutes i. Told that i need to "confirm the order" but they won't tell me how and I have already shown them my PAID order reciept.
Then i was told they "cant just give food away" again, my order was confirmed and paid for on my phone!
Then i was asked to give a secred code or tell him what my cousin said about something specific during the call which i had no idea because i wasnt listening to everything! Like, what the hell?
They refused to give me my food until i started getting really irritated and asking why they would not let me just get my food.
Finally some guy goes to read the ticket, and it clearly says PICKUP! I already told him that 3 times. Still the lady in spanish says i need to confirm it and i cant have the food.
There is no further way to confirm a pickup order than to show the reciept, say the name and have a screen shot. Are you kidding me?
They just wanted me to be a driver so bad the whole experience was gross.
Edit: They fake reached out to me via Google reviews and told me to email them. I did. Never followed up or did anything. Throw the whole team away. Boo...
Read moreI've been to GHP a few times for the all you can eat Monday and have had a different experience each time. There can be a long wait if you get there late and there's a better variety early on so shoot for early evening. Salad bar is uninspired but to be expected at a family style pizza joint. The pizza itself is good, close enough to great. But the selling point for me is the variety and inventiveness. It seems they give the cooks a lot of creative control over the types of pizzas so I always leave there having tried 10 or so types that I really enjoyed. I also invariably end up eating far more than $10.95 worth of food.
I give them a few points for service as well. They generally aim to get everyone enough pizza, which can be tough when the place is packed and you only have but so many slices on a pan. Got there near the end once and was mistakenly told there would be a lot more pizzas coming out. A pair walked in 5 minutes later and a different host instructed them to not pay for unlimited because they wouldn't get their money's worth. When I confronted her she apologized and offered to have the chef make personalized pizzas at the end to ensure I got a sufficient amount. Can't lose with that kind of customer service. I'll...
