Go here if you want a rude cashier to curse at you!
From the top:
Came in and ordered a chili burger and a small coke, and commented on how cold it was inside. She said it was because the door is open and the door was open because when she closes it it gets smokey in the place. I asked if the vat vents needed to be cleaned, and she said, “and the fans need to be replaced, both of the above. Don’t know, I’m not the owner, and I don’t care about stuff like that.”
So then I noticed that everyone was sitting near the front window because it’s warm there. So I sat at the window. But then no one could see the game that was on, because the only television that was carrying the game was on a television that can’t be seen from the window. The rude cashier is working and watching everyone sit at the window with no game to watch, so, I got up and turned the nearest television so We could see it, and then asked the rude lady if we could get the game on this television.
She asked who turned the television, and I said I did, so We could watch it. She said, don’t turn MY TELEVISION. Ask, but don’t touch. Understand?” I said I didn’t understand, and she said, in a slow, loud, and increasingly condescending voice, “I said do not touch my TV. Beeeccaaauuusse ooofffff insurrance!”
Because she had earlier rudely told me that she wasn’t the owner, I asked, “your television?” She said, “nnnooooot my teeeeeveeee, but I’m the person that makes everything nice around here.”
She changed the channel, then turned to me and abused me some more with, “do not touch my TV. Understand? Don’t touch my sh*t.” I didn’t answer her, because she was being very abusive to me in front of the other customers.
She walked back to the kitchen, and began berating me to the cooks, saying, “can yo believe that guy? He touched my TV!! Who does that?!! God!” Then the cooks were laughing at me.
Do yourself a favor, and don’t come here, the prices are high and the portions are small, as you can see in the pictures. Burger King, in and Out, Taco Bell, and a few good Mexican places are nearby and are willing to treat you better for less. And to be honest, the burgers here, aren’t that great to warrant the price. The only reason to come here is to watch the games, but dealing with the cashier and the cold makes...
Read moreThis is my go to burger in the city. This is a little known gem in the city and I really hope it stays this way. The only people who know about this spot are the college kids at State and the residents of Park Merced.
It's one of the last places in the city where you can get a really really amazing quality meal for a really reasonable price. Since they opened they only raised their prices maybe once or twice and not by much. Every burger comes with fries and all soft drinks also come with free refills. The value you get for the price you pay is truly unmatched.
The burger is always made to order and I have never had a burger cooked wrong and I have never been disappointed. The meat is Niman Ranch, high quality, made simply and served with the basic burger fixins. The burger may fall apart because it's so juicy, but I don't ever care.
If you dig secret menus, you can also go in and ask for the Rothlisburger, an off menu monstrosity that includes a burger patty, a hot link, bacon, cheese, and everything else.
This is a small sports themed restaurant where you can come sit down and have a beer and watch the game while you eat your burger. Lots of grubhub and caviar delivery drivers come in here to pick up orders all the time, or else I would imagine this place being a lot more packed than it usually is.
The service is always friendly and fast.
I didn't want to write this review, because I'm always afraid of a good things going sour after going "viral" but I have to show love for one of my favorite places in all of SF.
If you are on the south side of the city and looking for a quick and satisfying meal, this...
Read moreI have drove by the area many times for other reasons and you may not even notice this place without doing some research since it is located away from everything else. Finally I got the chance to give it a shot, I was hungry where I was craving for a burger and in the back of my head this place was calling for me. Upon arrival, there was a line out the door since it was during the lunch rush, but I did not mind since I knew it was going to be good. When it was my turn to order, I was greeted with a happy smile by their cashier. They offer burgers, sandwiches, many style of fries, wings, salads and much more. Everything is made to order which is always a plus for me and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. The staffs are very welcoming, well trained and understanding which made my visit a satisfying one. They theme of this place is inspired by sports and more importantly the Bay Area sports teams, such as the San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers and the San Francisco warriors. From the service to food it was a great experience. I highly recommend this place to all burger enthusiasts, to anyone in need of a quick bite, or if you just so happen to be in the area and want to try something new. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they...
