Terrible over the phone customer service.
I attempted to place an order over the phone and the manager Kamal (I believe this is how his names is spelled) was unnecessarily rude. He began to cut me off when mid-sentence when I was stating my order or inquiring about the different flavor chicken to the point I had no choice but to bring his aggressive and inappropriate phone etiquette to his attention in which he totally ignored, became even more snarky and condescending. Kamal went on reiterate he was superior and I was inferior by his tone, saying the establishment was busy and trying to rush me off the phone. Just when I thought the conversation couldn't get worse it did, when I attempted to pay via Visa and he said my card was declined which was false. The phone conversation ended as I advised the manager that I will place my order in person and again his response antics were rude. I arrived in person and of course paid for my food with the exact same card that was alledgely declined. At this point my order was unique and Kamal remembered the unpleasant phone conversation amongst the two us and over charged me for my order. After review of the receipt my spouse advised Kamal of the discrepancy and the issue was rectified -i was issued a refund- although the upcharge shouldn't of happened in the first place. All in all this is my local pizza joint and I give zero stars the manager should be fired because clearly he unlike his job and take his anguish out on customers. I belive he sensed that I was of color over the phone and this acted towards him justifying the blatant discrimination. I really hope round table HQ really read my review and a hold this manager accountable. P.S. Kamal was maskless while handling both money and food. Maybe the health department should conduct an audit to ensure safety of food handling is being followed according...
Read morewalking in the cashier said hello thanks for the wait. that's probably the only good thing I saw there. I am in the cooking industry myself and as a sous chef I notice things very easily. I was upset out of my mind to see the cashier use his gloved hands that he was previously making a pizza with, answer the phone without taking the gloves off and/or washing his hands after to put new gloves on and went right back to making a pizza. not to mention all of the pizza cooks were not washing their hands and putting new gloves on in between new pizza orders. Unsanitary and UNACCEPTABLE. Unprofessional, I see an employee, whom didn't seem to be on break or anything in the kitchen with a cigarette in his ear. That's a lovely sight to see at a food establishment. At least wait to go on your break to be walking around for who knows how long with a cigarette in plain view. Overall I think this Round Table disgraced the other ones that actually care about simple servsafe practices and general appearance of not only themselves but the business they are selling and upholding. One comment to Mr. Management there, please please please please watch your staff and hold them to the standards you know are they are supposed to be at. If I could do less than 1 star I would. Food safety is an automatic fat...
Read moreI love round table pizza. I'll pay the premium for the quality. And I'm not here to get anyone in trouble. But the last 3 times I have called in a delivery order I'm put on hold and seemingly forgotten about. As I recall I allwayse have to hang up and call again. And I'm sitting here wondering yet again, did they forget my order. But this feeling is starring to be all to familiar. Not just the last time. But the time before that as well. 1 hour 20mins. 1hr 30mins. Pizza takes 45 mins at every other pizza place. I understand you must be constantly swamped. And if that's the case you should be able to afford more help to facilitate the demand. If you cannot, there is something wrong here. I don't understand who's milking the employees. The locations owner? Or the manager? I'm gonna keep an eye on my clock for the hell of it. It's the last nail in the coffin for this location as far as I'm...
