Some of the better pizza in town. A little pricey ($5-8 a slice pricey) but the food is quality. Given there is not a lot of great pizza in SF, this spot is deserving of the price and a solid 4 stars.
Just got cheese, can tell the other slices look yummy too.
Oh but definitely you gotta stop the homeless people from staying in here. They tried to charge me $1 for a box, but I didn't want to leave ... it just wasn't safe there with the homeless guy going around to everyone and being weird.. I argued that I was not comfortable there and they owe me a box so I can eat my meal elsewhere ... but these are very specific San Francisco problems that if the staff is not dealing with, will destroy your business. This should be a 5 star review, but the -1 star is because I had to literally argue with the staff for a box instead of the staff arguing with the homeless person to remove the problem.... like really? (The poor guy tried, but the lady just stood there and argued with me over a dollar box.... like, help your dude out girl). Hope this helps, save your store, it...
Read morePlace was Ok. Got a couple recommendations for good pizza in Mission district so I had to go. Guy told me it was good New York style so I expected thinner crust, was on the thicker side. Pizza was huge portions which is actually about twice the serving as a normal place so 1 slice is actually 2 together. The flavor of the pizza was ok, just typical pizza and very bland so much so that I had to put all the condiments an along with a good amount of salt. Not a bad pizza but wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, also they charge a dollar if you want a box to go. Since I ordered 2 slices (actually 4) was gonna save it for tomorrow but will just be giving away since the fat and carbs was not worth the taste for me. Not in the mission but would recommend Golden boy pizza, mob hill pizza and shawarma, or...
Read moreSF Tour de Pizza top pick!!! Serrano's Pizza makes each slice individually and to order. This means they actually roll out each individual triangle of dough and then top it as you like. My go-to is usually the San Franciscan, a solid combination slice, but mushroom and olive definitely touches on a special spot in my heart as well. After you get addicted you can start taking down their huuuuge, imaginative, and delicious menu. Besides this unique method of preparing pizza by the slice, the business itself is an independent, family-owned business which are rarer these days so its always nice to support and keep the locals here, especially when they're this delicious. Love you...
