Definitely a neighborhood gem in SGV. My friend has been bragging about their egg tarts and Cha Shao Bao ( BBQ pork bun) for awhile. I finally had a chance to visit the bakery today.
My friend was right, their egg tarts looked very good and massive and the price is less than $2. The crust was very crispy and the egg fillings was mouth watering good. The Cha Shao Bao’s were very tasty too. They make them like the ones in Hong Kong. The BBQ pork fillings were very flavorful and tasty. The buns were fluffy too. That’s a great combination for a good bun. The price for the BBQ pork bun is also very reasonable. No body can beat their prices let alone their taste.
I also got the cocktail bun as well. The bun was very fluffy and the filling inside with shredded coconut was so good. You can’t get this kind of taste from a dim sum restaurant. Like my friend said, “ this is my kind of bakery that gives good quality, great value and taste for their products”.
They bakery has other Asian sweet breads too. We didn’t have a chance to try them out. Will be back for more. We definitely will be frequenting this bakery more .
For fellow Yelpers who check in on Yelp app, with minimum of $1 purchase, you can get a free ice milk tea. That’s a good deal.

Read moreNovember update: I asked what time the Portuguese & egg tarts come out fresh from the oven, and luckily my next day allowed me to get them. EXCELLENT! The Portuguese tarts were more flaky and much more sweeter, while the egg tarts had a more traditional crunchier & snappier crust. September Original Review: I always walked passed this place, and never thought to come in until my friend wanted to try it out. Supposedly their Portuguese tarts were really good, so I figured why not? My friend got me some of their other breads with sausage in them as well, and they weren't bad --really good to snack on. Their Portuguese tarts though were interesting. Taste-wise, it had TONS of flavor for sure. But something about the consistency was different from what I had in Macau. When we grabbed it out of the box, it was so soft, that two of them were smushed together. The ones I had in Macau were more flaky, and piping hot fresh. Not to say that these are bad, but they were different. Flaky, yes, but more soft than flaky. I wonder how they would be first thing in the morning right out of the oven though? Also wonder how often they bake...
