Confia — Restaurant in San Germán

After reading a prior review that was good I decided to check it out. Decided for sushi and ask the waiter for a a Sapporo beer which i normally order at a sushi place to a pair with my sushi and they did not sell it, that should have been my cue this wasn’t the correct place.

I ordered the the tuna roll and a California roll and a lemonade. The sushi actually look nice on the plate. The tuna roll was ok the California roll was horrible. Some of the rice was not Cook properly and the crab filling was actually entire piece of crab instead of the authentic mince crab filling and had no avocado. The lemonade was a little off on the flavor, had some sort of unusual after taste. I would definitely not return. Dynamite comes in small, beautiful packages! Everything from the service, to the food to the atmosphere was simply SUPERB! I’d go every week if we lived close by. There’s options for everyone and the place is simply beautiful inside! We had a party of 16 including kids that they accommodated for and they were so kind and helpful! Chicken and waffles were next level. Sushi was good! Sandwiches were yummy. The viades salteadas were muahh! And the waffles—scrumptious!!! Do yourself a favor! Go and enjoy. Been there three times already and I can’t complain at all. The place got a nice and cozy atmosphere, food quality and taste are really good. Great portions for the prices, variety of classic rolls if you are into sushi. An American/Japanese fusion menu that you will love. Staff its super welcoming and the owner super friendly and open to his clients. The coffee bar will welcome you in a way you’ll get hooked up.
