Taqueria La Huasteca — Restaurant in San Jacinto

I don't really write reviews, however my family and I really enjoyed this spot, you get so much for your buck here, however as a regular I felt things have gotten a bit peculiar, today when ordering my food over the phone they left me directly to voicemail, without greeting they left me waiting a bit, (that's okay), however when getting the total they charged me a bit more than usual I though it was no big deal, till I double checked my bank account and they charged a bit more than what the receipt and total was over the phone, I thought maybe it was my bank or something, however it was not (I called just incase) they tried to charge more than what they needed, and the owner said she didn't like when people order over the phone, it's not that I wouldn't pay more but to be scammed a bit kinda feels worrisome, please be mindful about what you get charged here, if this happened to me I do not want this to happen to other people. I would not like to take any legal actions against a small business, but I am just a honest-working person who would not like to be taken advantage of :). Keep this...

This is a hidden gem in the San Jacinto Hemet Valley. Several friends said they had the best authentic Mexican food and what they all mentioned was the Tacos. We went thier for lunch and it was everything our friends stated. We really appreciated this is a family-run and owned restaurant. Everything is made fresh their daily oh, they even make their own flan. They are a lovely family and this is a truly wonderful family restaurant with outstanding Mexican food. With my food restrictions they made me the street tacos and burritos. Honestly it was the best I've ever had. It's hidden on a little side street off of Main Boulevard so I hope you take your time to look it up on MapQuest support this wonderful family-owned Mexican restaurant in the city...

About 3 to 4 years ago I would always come by this place to get tortas and burritos and they where the most flavor packed foods I’ve ever had. Unfortunately fast forward to today and I cant speak on the other dishes since I havent had them but whenever I get a torta or burrito of any kind it just tastes bland and mediocore, no love or passion in the taste. I have no idea what happened they definitely changed recipes or maybe they changed owners but the food is not the same. I knew something wasn’t right when I noticed the food came out way to fast. Much love to this place since I hold a lot of tasty memories here but if the owner reads this I beg you to please change back the recipe of the burritos and tortas to what it once...
