GREAT HANDMADE TORTILLAS! El Ojo De Agua is known for their fresh tortilla making ingredients and authentic flavors. I ordered a carne asada mulita and witnessed the action firsthand. The gentleman who made it pressed it and added everything straight from the grill! My mulita was VERY flavorful. However, the prices here are through the roof! It cost me $21 dollars for one mulita and a cup of cucumber water. I was a little annoyed as other options down the street have great authentic Mexican food and for a reasonable price. I get that it costs to purchase fresh ingredients, however other places don't overcharge like here. The restaurant was also blazin' hot, there's no AC. It was killer on a hot day. Don't recommend coming during the summer. The gentleman who made my tortillas and mulita was super nice and I would definitely give him five stars if I was rating solely on his customer service! I'll come back but not that often...

This is one of the best intimate and wholesome Mexican restaurants in town. The staff is so kind and friendly. Helped me decided on what to eat. The prices are not jacked up due to inflation and you can still get into a food coma under $10. I eat out a lot and this is place is in the top 5 in San Jacinto. Support your local small businesses!

This place is too expensive for the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the place. I paid $18.00 dollars for an order of chilaquiles and they got my order wrong for the third time. Your best bet is Casa Jimenez or Jalapenños, around the same price, but a big difference in the taste and quality of the food!!

Food was pretty good, I wasn't sure of what I was getting the menu was pretty old looking and I wasn't familiar with many the names of the food and it was our 1st time there. Restaurant looked small and not fancy I'm anyway. I was pretty satisfied with the food, they were out of a lot of the menu items and still we were polite to the staff because if anything they were a 5 star. I did feel I overpaid, maybe... I never got a tab. I had to tell the person at the register what we ordered, I got a total but not sure if it was accurate. I think either prices were high or a mistake was done. Never got a receipt l, my husband paid and I thought I would look at receipt in car and when I asked he mentioned he never got one. But like I mentioned before the food was very...

First and last time I come here!!! Menudo was very tough, under cooked. Not to mention almost $15 for a small bowl. Didn't care too much for hand made tortillas. Also ordered a ground beef and potato empanada and got carne asada filling instead. Place needs fully functioning AC, it was very hot and stuffy inside. They did put a fan close to us but it was missing the cover and was full of dirt and lint everywhere. Deep cleaning to the whole place is needed ASAP. The 2 cashiers are also cooks. Pretty sure they didn't even wash their hands. Not sure how this place has 4 stars right now. Health department needs to go check...
