Wow! This family was from Spain and they came here to San Jacinto to raise their family. One of their famous members was in the Spanish military and while visiting he bought land for the other family members to relocate. The Estudillo mansion is like a walk into the past. All of the furnishings are from way back when and it looks just as if they are going to walk in to the house after a stroll in the rose garden. It is in a beautiful area and has a well sculpted rose garden i think everyone in this area should visit this museum (which is wonderful by the way) to see where this town started and to see how people lived in the olden days. I was humbled by all the old tools there. Those people had to work very hard for everything that they needed. I was lucky enough to get a free tour since I’m a veteran!

Finally was able to visit this place for the first time after so many years I could never seem to be lucky enough to arrive when the place was open I was extremely happy that I did visit today especially the museum area of the facility it's cool to see the local history artifacts stacked in a small room give it a chance I think you'll like it

Wonderful place. Historic mansion built in the 1880s. $2.00 for adults if you are taking the tour. Very informational. Open only on Saturdays. Once you are inside, you will feel like you have been transported back in time. Great place to visit.

The Estudillo Mansion is a beautifully restored home from the 1880"s, which amazingly, still has some original features. The friendly volunteers are extremely knowledgeable about the history not only of the mansion, but of the whole valley, and will give you a fascinating tour. The grounds and garden are lovely and peaceful. Be sure to check out the photo inside the house taken in 1900, and see how much the tree in the front yard has grown. Well worth a visit! A treasure that San Jacinto is...
