Wow! This family was from Spain and they came here to San Jacinto to raise their family. One of their famous members was in the Spanish military and while visiting he bought land for the other family members to relocate.
The Estudillo mansion is like a walk into the past. All of the furnishings are from way back when and it looks just as if they are going to walk in to the house after a stroll in the rose garden.
It is in a beautiful area and has a well sculpted rose garden
i think everyone in this area should visit this museum (which is wonderful by the way) to see where this town started and to see how people lived in the olden days. I was humbled by all the old tools there. Those people had to work very hard for everything that they needed.

The friendly volunteers are extremely knowledgeable about the history not only of the mansion, but of the whole valley, and will give you a fascinating tour.
