Antojitos Oaxaqueños.y poblanos (Zocalo) — Restaurant in San Jose

The food is good but it's very loud in there from a man singing at the front. We sat at the furthest table in the back and we still couldn't hear each other or what our waitress was saying. We had to ask her several times to repeat what she said. But the most disappointing part was that when you sit, they bring you a tiny bowl of soup. We thought, "oh that's nice, cute little soup bowls instead of chips and salsa". When I got the check, all the food and drinks were listed as codes, so I asked the waitress to explain the charges. Come to find out those tiny bowls of soup brought to us when we sat down were added to our bill at one dollar a piece! How do you charge customers for something they didn't order?? I felt mixed emotions and felt embarrassed to say we weren't paying for the soups because we didn't order them (after all, we did eat them), so I ended up paying for them. I think it's their tactic to syphon money out of all customers, perhaps without them even knowing, or feeling embarrassed to speak out. I have a feeling that what they're doing is...
