***Update 11.15.23*** Stopped for early lunch, had the tuna melt sandwich with an Arnold Palmer, business customer had pancakes, food was great. 2 small issues, 1. Server disappeared and it took what seemed like 20 minutes to get the small sized glass refilled with more "Arnold Palmer" and then 2. Bills and many other restaurants who use the "Toast" ordering and payment system, hand you the mobile payment device with 3 tip options, 25%, 20%, and 18% in that order, I'm assuming they are hoping we tip their staff the 25% since 25% is the first tip amount and on the left side where everybody starts reading from. I think high quality staff should be tipped in some circumstances but I think the customer should be allowed to easily choose their preferred tip. I always click on the "Customize" button and tip 15% which was the case with this visit, however I'm not happy about the expectation to tip 25% which I'm sure some customers fall for......this should change. Prior review A solid, dependable experience Everytime. On this, one out of hundreds of visits I had corned beef hash and eggs which was really too much food but I ate it all just the same. Breakfast or lunch count on Bills to deliver all the traditional diner food you've come to know and love at Flames, Lou's, Cardinal, the original Goodies, Jimmy's, Diner of Los Gatos, Effies, Los Gatos Cafe etc... all Greek owned or inspired, cafes.... These guys get it right with quality, quantity and service.

As we walked up we realized the place was completely packed and there was a huge line of people waiting to be seated. Looked to be a very popular Saturday breakfast spot. So we went and put our names on the list and were told that we had a 40 45 minute wait for the two of us. We decided to wait. Luckily for us we were told the bar was first come first serve. Shorty after we saw a couple checking out at the bar 5 minutes or so after we started waiting, we jumped into the seats saving our selfs a long wait. We were promptly offered drinks and given menu's. Our waitress was very attentive checking in twice with us before we were ready to order. After we ordered our food came out to us amazingly fast almost like they had been pre-cooked and waiting around the corner. The line cooks are really good! The food was hot and delicious the serving sizes were generous. I had a make your own omelette sausage, bacon, mushrooms, and jack cheese with avocado topping it,the SO got a crab cake Benedict which also look delicious and she enjoyed. For as packed as the place was the staff was very sufficient and dealing with it extremely well the service was awesome and we will definitely be visiting this place again.

I found this place on whim and across from a parking lot across the street, and I'm glad I did. Staff is very attentive and friendly!! Cozy and they even have a patio area that is pet friendly. This is my 2nd time coming, and kinda excited to work through the menu as i look at the plates they were bringing out. 1st day had a BLT, fries, and it comes with a soup. I didn't know they closed at 2pm but wasn't rushed to leave. Came back the next day and had eggs, portuguese sausage, toast and extra crispy hash browns, decently price, and they don't mess around with portions! The best extra crispy hash browns, perfect sunny side eggs!, in my opinion! I haven't tried the drinks yet, but i will. Great place!! Again, they close at 2pm Mon.- Fri. and Sat. & Sun. at 3pm. I forgot to ask what time they open.

My initial review is below. I'm leaving it up for reference. But since then, the owner made good and comped us this second attempt. We came on a Saturday morning and the place was packed. We figured if it was too long a wait we'd go to another place around the corner. We got seated outside immediately. It was not sunny and a bit on the cool side. The only concern really was that our food would get colder faster. The lack of heaters cost them a Star. I ordered a chorizo scramble, which was very tasty and very filling. Service was very good. Overall three stars, in combination of the previous experience, which is still very good , considering. Below is the review from our experience last month.

First, only giving one star because we have to give 1 to post a review. The hostess was Very rude and we walked out without being seated. She did not greet us and she took us to a table inside. Then she asked, "oh, did you want to sit outside?". When we decided yes, she rolled her eyes, handed us the menus and said "sit wherever you'd like" as if we just inconvenienced her. We returned the menus and said we were eating somewhere else because she was very rude. We came to...
