A Mom and Pops country store and restaurant atmosphere. Authentic Mexican food and hospitality, I had menudo, with all the fixings.........yummy!!!!!, the owner treated me warm and inviting like a mom would at home. Some may say it looks a bit shabby or maybe even a bit the worse for wear, or even shabby chic, but I’d say my experience was like going to Mexico and being invited to a friends grandmothers house in a little village and being greeted with loving open arms, the most lovely smile, and the flavors of Mexico. I've been going to this place for years. I used to love it. Now for past 4 years off & on, when I go by myself & bring friends to give them more business. The older man, guess the owner has been extremely rude to me & my friends. I feel he's prejudice He treats us differently then other customers. Can't believe I kept giving them chances. The food, for me, went down hill too. I want to say, his wife is a sweet heart though. But because of him, I will never go back, & I live right across the street from them too. I was there just yesterday and it was delicious. I had been there many many years back and spur of the moment ended up there with a friend and we both loved it and felt very comfortable there. It's a lil mom and pop type business and it has been around for ages. It's a restaurant and it also doubles as a store. The lady(owner) and the cook were very friendly and welcoming.
