Los Barriles — Restaurant in San Jose

Disappointing..... I am shocked at all of the 5 star reviews. I was nearby and looking for some icecream. This place popped up on my Google Map search but I didn't know it was a food truck until I arrived. I figured well the reviews are good, so let's see. I ordered a chocolate and banana milkshake. While I waited the guy handed me 4 different flavors on small spoons to try. I immediately became concerned and clarified that it was ice cream. It was more like low quality sorbet. This product is not real ice cream or it is poorly made. It was flavorless and watery. I received my milkshake and appearance was great with a lil Hostess Ding Dong on top. And then immediately I could see the chocolate was syrup added in to what I assume was vanilla something. Real chocolate milkshakes use real chocolate icecream. And there was banana but it too was flavorless. At a cost of $11 this is not the quality of ice cream one would expect. I will not...

Refused to give me my ice cream after sending them a Zelle payment. They told my sister and I that they did not recieve it and won’t give us the icecreme . We showed them the Zelle payment on our phone but was rudely told they would not give the icecreme to us . Alas our money and icecreme is gone. Sad thing is I really like this icecreme place they are very good . But I won’t...

Refused to give me my ice cream after sending them a Zelle payment. They stated that they never received the money or a text message even though I used their exact phone number and the money left my account. I also showed them my phone with the payment and still didn't provide service.

Update: The money was refunded through Zelle a few days after posting...
