McDonald's — Restaurant in San Jose

I just went there today aug 31,2017 . I had orders a 10 piece nuggets a #4 meal and a medium fry . I had asked for ranch , honey mustard and the new sriracha sauce . They gave me one of each and I like to have sauce for my fries so I had asked if I can get more ranch and honey mustard. The vitenmese employee had flat out told me no. My friend had asked and she said no . I took a dollar out because I know mc Donald's is freaking stingy with sauces . I said I will pay for the sauces she looked at my friend and me and said " No that's fine" and walked away she gave me my food I said can I speak to the manger and she said no manger I said let me speak to your supervisor she goes " no supervisor" they manger was right behind her ! I looked at the manger she came to the window I said do you guys not give out anymore sauces and charge people . She kept telling me no the employee... the manger said I'm sorry and looked at her like really . I than called and complained and the lady on the phone said I'm sorry and apologized and said that was rude of her and said she would talk to her I told her I have been her twice before and both times I have had the problem . I work at a fast food place I know how to deal with the sauces . And charging we don't pay that much for the sauces to begin with ! LOL DUMB . NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN IR REFERRING ANYONE...

I decided to visit again because the business section said their revenue was up again. I went for lunch and I didn't see as many people as I expected, but it was still doing good business. The drive thru was closed for some construction at the time and I am sure it will reopen soon. The place is clean and has large windows out on the strip mall. Free wifi is nice. The refills are free for customers dining in. I had the Mini meal with the double cheeseburger and it was OK, not great, but it was reliable food anywhere you go. The cashier was friendly and smiled. Here is what McDonalds needs to work on; the menu board is now a flat panel screen and it is not good. It's just not organized well, and the kids meals are not even on it, they are on a paper menu taped to the side of the ordering counter. The menu board is simply in need of better execution so I deducted one star. This location is local to me and it is my go to place, but lately the new corporate management has done more to frustrate me and keep me out than draw me, and new customers back in. Update: mirroring the economy, this place is slow. Update: the free McChicken was good. I used their rewards for it. Restaurant has picked up, mostly drive thru and door dash. Update: Still a nice neighborhood McDonald's. Clean, efficient and I enjoyed my sausage...

Still no mobile service just read up on reviews and noticed same comment from 6 months ago. I went in for just a big mac sandwhich I was short on time. I thought I should order my BMac on mobile order while I walk from Safeway across the parking lot. I tried to put my order on the app but it said location was closed. I looked up and saw people dinning in and drive thru busy. I thought must be an error they dont know that the app shows they are closed. I went out of my way to order inside and ask to speak to manager, so that i can warn them of possible error. When I brought up this information to manager, he said he didnt know why. And wasnt aware of the issue until then. 🤔 I'm guessing McD's have the ability to opt in or opt out of app. 3 star rating is because I agree with post from 6 months ago. Why post up signs of mobile ordering? Even reserve parking spots for it, if you aren't even on the program?

On another note DRIVE THRU Drive Thru really does forget all your condiments and utensils at this location. you get what you order in paper bag, no napkins, no condiments, no utensils if needed in food you buy. DOUBLE...
