Family went for dinner with the expectations of a Mexican style restaurant, based on the name and reading the reviews. We were greeted and seated quickly. The were blasting Mexican music, a little loud for a family wanting to talk to each other. Service was initially good, waiter showed up promptly with menus. Looking over the menu, it turns out that their are some Mexican style dishes, but there is mostly other types of cuisines. First item is Wings, with Asian Zing, later in the same section is Hummus. In the salad section are all none Mexican salads, unless you consider Cesar's Mexican. Instead there are Greek salad, Louie Salad, Cobb Salad, etc. One section is called Pastas Y Mas. When a section if called Pasta and more, I expect it to be a pasta section with several pastas and then a few other items. Instead there is Spaghetti and Meatballs as the only pasta, plenty of burgers and Ribs in the section. When I attended the Culinary Academy in the 1990's, the first thing that was brought up, was to have a cohesive menu, not a bunch of different cuisines thrown together. We learned to present a menu that makes sense for the style of restaurant you are creating. This restaurant's menu seem to be created by someone that has little to none understanding of how to create an attractive menu and cuisine. I ordered a Mojito, expecting something special since Mojito is part of the restaurant's name. There was nothing special at all, actually I have had much, much better Mojitos in regular restaurants. My wife had a Margarita, which she liked. We ordered an appetizer, Mr Mojito's sampler platter. We got wings, flautas, Nachos, and Quesadilla. Wings were spicy and cooked well. The flautas were not cooked very well and the filling was almost a paste of meat. Nachos and quesadilla's were not something worth mentioning. My wife ordered a Tortilla Soup, which was the best thing that we got. Service was ok until after we got our food. After they check on us once, we did not see them until it was time to get the check. We were not asked if we wanted any additional drinks or refills for the kids. We have wave down the waiter to get water that we had asked for. Even the check took a long time to come. I don't like to write negative reviews, but in this case I really felt that I had to document our experience. With so many good restaurant's in the area, we will not come back for drinks or food. The place has so much potential, but it feel very short of our...

The atmosphere at Mr. Mojito Bar & Grill is great. It exudes a lively and enjoyable ambiance, making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind with friends or enjoy any major sporting event. The establishment also offers a good happy hour, providing excellent deals on drinks and creating an even more enjoyable experience.
However, it's important to note that the food quality isn't always consistent. While some dishes may be outstanding, others may fall short of expectations. This inconsistency can be disappointing for diners seeking consistently delicious meals.
Another aspect to consider is the pricing. Some guests may find the prices to be a little high for what they receive in terms of portion sizes or overall value. It's advisable to consider this aspect when visiting and decide if the experience justifies the cost.
In summary, Mr. Mojito Bar & Grill is a great spot for cocktail enthusiasts with its fantastic drink menu, especially the signature mojitos. The bar offers a good variety of food options and has a lively atmosphere. However, the food quality may be inconsistent, and some guests might find the prices slightly high for what...
Read moreMr. Mojito opened around the time COVID-19 hit, and I've visited a few times to catch up with friends over drinks and food. Unfortunately, my experiences haven't left a lasting positive impression. The first time, I found the Mojito delicious, but when I ordered it again recently, I could barely drink it. As a former bartender, it was disappointing because I could hardly taste the rum amidst an excessive amount of mint, with insufficient lime juice and simple syrup. It felt like a glass of watery ice filled with mint leaves. I took a few sips and left most of my cocktail behind. It’s an oddity considering it’s their namesake.
The food has been consistently average, never something that truly stands out or compels me to must order. We've tried their nachos, tacos, garlic and sweet potatoes fries, potato skins, and all their chicken wings flavors.
On the bright side, the service is decent, with friendly and attentive staff, which is a off-setting plus.
The spacious layout, while accommodating, lacks warmth and ambiance, often feeling a bit cold. It's a suitable spot for watching sports due to numerous televisions and a sizable patio. It can be a fun place to hang out with a group of friends, but in my opinion, it doesn't quite fit the bill as a nice, date spot but maybe for a...
