New Jade China — Restaurant in San Jose

This is a take away place with limited seating, we saw plenty of people coming in for orders they’d placed over the phone and for order they placed in person. The lady at the till was lovely, we did the $11 (without tip) lunch set menu that allows us 3 items (carbs & 2 protein) and shared it between 2 people because we weren’t that hungry. They said 10 minutes but the food came super fast & they gave us paper plates & plastic forks to eat. We also used the bathroom & the lady on the register gave us the key. There was some tissue on the floor & you could see that customers had vandalized parts of the bathroom but it was still cleanish. The lady at the register was the sweetest asking if we needed anything else. The first time I came here I ordered chicken chow mein fried rice and chow fun. The portions were so amazing and the food was so delicious that we had to come back again! I'm a vegetarian and I'm glad there were a few vegetarian options that also came in bigger portions. I'm here a second time to try their vegetable chow mein to go. The space of the restaurant is a bit tiny, but considering a lot of people come in to pick up orders that were called ahead, the space didn't really matter. There are also about 6 large tables if you decide to dine-in instead. The location of the area in my opinion compares to the saying "a diamond in the rust". A comparable authentic Chinese restaurant that can is easily missed. 5 stars for Jade China for delicious food and fast service! Definitely recommend....

Ever go to a place and you ordered a dish that looks/sounds good and you order it and it was so delicious that when you go back again it will be the only thing you order. My wife brought me home Honey Walnut Shrimp. I received it cold but the size of the shrimp made me go wow! It was delicious and I couldn't finish it. The following week I went back and told the counter guy my last week experience, I own a restaurant and I know they love positive feedback. Guess what I did?
