R&B Tea Silver Creek — Restaurant in San Jose

For a hot day, I ordered a Roasted Oolong Milk tea with no sugar, less ice and crystal boba. I ordered through DoorDash since I was running errands and wanted to just run in and grab my drink. My impressions of the interior was positive. Love the clean and spacious ambiance. There were a few customers sitting around and it was quiet mid afternoon on a Friday. My drink tasted good but it was mostly ice. I was disappointed that my “less ice” request was not noticed. Since there was so much ice, I was not able to get to the crystal boba. It was wasted and thrown away due to the too much ice issue. I will try again one more time to see if they get my order right.

This is my fourth time ordering from them. The one consistent (and positive thing) is the taste of their drinks… they really are delicious; however, the most inconsistent and frustrating thing is how much ice they fill your cup with!! After realizing how much ice was in the first order I ever placed (on doordash), I made sure to ask for “less ice” and even type in an extra “light ice” message in the special instructions box. One of the times, they actually followed instructions…the remaining two times, it was filled with soooo much ice. It’s super unfortunate because they make great drinks, but what’s the point of having a “less ice” option if it’s just going to filled with...

I really enjoy RB tea eveytime I'm in San jose, the Hawaii green tea is my favorite and I'm glad that they do split cup from the giant drink because I can never finish the whole large cup myself. The sweetness is always perfect, I don't like it too sweet and always asked for less sweet, and its perfect evertime. I haven't try any other drinks from them except the brown sugar milk with boba. That one is also good but the boba texture is a hit and miss. Sometimes it's so smushy and sometimes it hardens. So I stopped ordering it. Hope they improve their...
