SANTA FE TAQUERIA — Restaurant in San Jose

If you have an Allergy to any food, DO NOT COME HERE. THEY DONT CARE NOW. I have been coming here for years. My spouse has a serious food allergy. They have always understood the allergy and made sue they were careful. There is cross contamination with everything. I asked for no beans in my taco salad today it was at 12:15 pm but it was not busy there. I told her there were beans in the rice and she looks at me and says so you don't want rice . I said can you please get me clean rice from the back. She said its frozen and there is none warmed up. I asked to her to warm it up and she shrugs her shoulders and says no. I then asked for help translating cause she reverted back to only speaking Spanish. And still no luck. I am watching them make other food and when they scoop the beans they have to go above the rice tin and the beans falls in the rice. They clearly have not been trained. The food is good but not worth dying over cause they are...

Some reviews say the portions and quality of the burritos here are not anywhere near as good than what you'd get from their Story/White Road location, so true statements. Quite stingy on portions. Their menudo though was ok. The service was way under par. Cashier stopped smiling when I only gave a 15% tip. Dunno what she expect.
