If there was 0 stars I would put 0. I came to this place one time and that will be my LAST. It first started when she didn’t take our order right and gave us an extra plate. When she walked over with the extra plate we were all confused and the lady knew we were confused and she just walked away immediately not asking if we needed help or had any questions. Second we didn’t get NO SERVICE the whole time being there only when drinks and food were brought out. When she came out the third time which was the LAST time we informed her that we didn’t order or want that plate and let her know it was EXTRA. She then began to tell us no that we ordered it and we needed to pay for it so after us going back and forth she let us know it was fine and took the plate back. So we ordered 3 micheladas with shrimp, one margarita, and 4 plates. When we went to go pay we wanted tabs separated and so we thought they got separated only for us to find out that they still were charging us for the EXTRA plate and we walked out paying 105 dollars in total and they were still telling us we had a remaining balance and at that point I knew all this was a scam and they were trying to get over on us!! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE SPECIALLY IF YOU DONT SPEAK TO GOOD SPANISH BECAUSE THEY TRY TO ACT LIKE THEY DONT...
Read moreI’m giving 2 stars only based on MANY years when I used to always enjoy the food. This used to be good (mostly). There’s always been a problem with non- Spanish speaking customer orders. Even though years ago I went with my x and he speaks fluently. I ve had good servers and really bad ones. Kudos to all the nice girls- I tip well in those cases. I’ve also experienced ‘girls’ who could care less what you’ve ordered or what you get; particularly if you don’t speak Spanish. The attitude comes across But maybe it’s just a general lack of caring for their customers. I can only speak for myself ranging over 20+ years. This used to be my go to place esp for breakfast and late nites but in more recent years it’s disappointed more than satisfied. If we pick up I always check my order, to the point of opening the burrito. Pre-COVID there was a nice young’ish man who seemed to be the owner/manager and I stated coming again— if there were problems he spoke English so, no problem. One other thing that I’ve noticed; you really have to be aware of the cost of your order; the girls who take it have their own method that’s, let’s say, magical. I order the same thing over and over with price fluctuations. Haven’t been back for quite awhile. Too bad, I used to like have a good...
Read more$30 for 4 small Flautas with rice and a large Horchata. ($20 for Flautas, $7 for a large Horchata)Holy smokes! Caught me off guard but for a good authentic Mexican meal? I was willing to go for it. I must admit I did not see the cash only sign but it was there, noticed after I paid with my cc, and they never said a word about the card.
But this is really about the food. I am astonished at the lack of flavor. The chicken is cooked with zero spices or marinade, rolled in a corn tortilla (not flower like most places, so basically chicken taquitos not Flautas) lots of sour cream flavorless rice and if that was guacamole on the salad and not a dressing it was also very poor.
The Horchata was tasty but watery and the salsa was delicious.
I can’t wait to see what aggressive poopy comment the owner leaves for me. Wish I had checked the reviews, can’t stand an owner that publicly badgers customers.
So $30 to know I will...
