Tacos y carnitas Huandacareo — Restaurant in San Jose

We were told of this place by a friend and aware that they do take a little longer but a whole HOUR is WAY too long for 5 tacos, a burrito, and a quesadilla! What was going to be a quick stop turned into a horrible hour! After waiting an hour, no food is the greatest. I had pastor tacos which were salty and I like salty food but these were really salty. Unfortunately the reason why they are so slow is because they make and cook the corn tortillas for the massive quessadilla. They also roll out and cook the tortilla for the burrito bit the tortilla for the burrito was translucent and too rubbery. My 10 year old son refuses to even finish his burrito after trying to eat just a third of it. Never will I recommend this place to anyone I know. There are much better food trucks (taco) that serve so much better food. Sorry but this place was a waste of an hour...

Everything here is good. Huge portions too for the money you spend. My favorite is the enchiladas michoacanas (portion is huge, they hook you up) or a burrito de pollo. Probably one of the best burritos on the east side. The salsas are also really good. I highly recommend this truck if you’re looking for some good tasting Mexican food on the East. Yes it's outdoor seating , although it's enclosed all the way around with a beautiful white closer with Windows and heater inside does an excellent 65in are so large screen TV to watch there food is like incredible the carnitas melt-in-your-mouth it's nice and lean just excellent lots of meat in the burritos the time to wait I've heard a few people complaints but the timing is very efficient free clean the condiment area free clean have nice condiments as far as different types of salsas and good fair prices , good tasting,...
