For those of you skimming reviews, I’ll just say that I was less than satisfied with the “service” I received today at this location.
I love great service - and, I enjoy giving a positive review. Unfortunately, this isn't one of those.
Over the weekend, I walked in to the Curtner & Leigh Starbucks to pick-up an online order. As I walked through the front door of this small venue, I noticed that there were no other customers inside.
I had initially been a bit confused by the COVID path arrows, as this location has changed routes and pick-up locations for the store a few times. I had started walking the path (basically away from the workers), and had mentioned I was there to get an online order. From roughly behind the area where traditionally the drinks are made, a worker was walking away from me and said, “It’s over here".
OK...so, I stop and changed directions to go directly to where the drinks were apparently waiting. But, in doing so, I unknowingly had made the mistake of not fully completing the COVID arrow path that runs the width of the front of the store that then u-turns back to the same area I had started walking to. The worker who had informed me where my drinks were unexpectedly snaps at me saying, “No, follow the arrow path!” Really? Really.
In the end, the drinks & food tasted great. But, the worker's behavior was unnecessarily rude & just a bit jarring.
Having given it thought, my wife & I decided to give our business going forward to the Curtner & Camden Starbucks - where they offer a friendly greeting & pleasantly remember your name.

Read moreStarbucks has a policy to always remake a drink if the customer has any issue with it from when I was training as a Starbucks Barista it seems that may have changed. I ordered an iced green tea latte with cold foam and asked the cold foam not be mixed with the drink to make the foam green for presentation for Valentines day. They told me they didnt have time to remake the drink so I could either take the drink as is or get a refund which would take longer than remaking the drink. This store used to be my favorite but after that experience I will be looking elsewhere to place my orders the quality of this store has declined and order ahead orders are now not ready quickly as they were so there is always a wait...

The barista refused to fill them to the top with milk. She said it was policy not to for non ice orders. I explained they fill them up every time there. She again refused.
