Subway — Restaurant in San Jose

Received EXCELLENT service from both Claudia and the store manager.

The Subway app is terrible and notified me to place my order before 9:30 which I did, but it didn't tell me the store closes at 9:30.. so I got there when it was closed. And of course the app has no phone number or way to contact anyone, or a way to refund. Orders that are after hours don't even get sent or received by the store's system, so while my app shows I ordered and has an order number and I got charged, the store has no history of it. That's not their fault, its corporate's fault. Shame on them.

Even after not having received my order and/or payment they were nice enough to still make me the sandwich during my next visit which is all I really wanted anyway. At the end of the day, $10 is a lot to spend for something you never received and nobody wants to feel robbed, which I would've had it not been for the staff here and their generosity. It wasn't their fault but they still took it personally upon themselves to make it right and make sure I wasn't unhappy. Superb store and service.

Very clean, organized & quick location. I was undecided about either flat bread or a tortilla type bread so the employee that helped us out explained the difference in size, flavor, calories & price! She was so helpful , convincing & friendly I decided to get my usual with flat bread but took the other to go so we could try later! Pretty tasty & filling but, the tortilla tends to rip half way through your meal causing a bit of a slow down, messy traffic jam making it become a clean up with a fork to finish! Nevertheless, still a very good...

I go here every week because it's right next to my work. But there is an Indian woman named Aman that works here and she is a very messy sandwich maker. She slaps on the veggies and there's always droppings from other vegetables I don't want end up in there. My sandwich always falls apart when she makes it because the way she cuts the bread to not laying everything on the bread.
