TacoMania — Restaurant in San Jose

The food is good at this establishment, however I am giving this place because employees are very rude. I always order extra tortillas and last week there was a mix up and I didn't recieve them which is not a big deal mistakes can happen if it is really busy or short staffed etc. Except this week when I came in and ordered my extra tortillas thr server very condescendingly told me she could count all the tortillas individually so I wouldn't call in again. Another time I ordered extra tortillas the server told me she would not sell me any because it was really busy. I understand this, but I don't think they had the right to flat out refuse to sell me any. I wouldn't have even minded a longer wait for them. I am a frequent customer here and however good the food is the service almost always falls short. The servers are always in a bad mood just throwing the food on the table without a care. I asked to speak to the manager, Carina, but she is not much help which is why I am posting this comment. I am a manager at a restaurant and I believe that to be an effective manager you need to have good customer service all around regardless of whether they are right or wrong and not discriminate against people if they don't tip. The only times I ever don't tip is when the service is terrible. A few years ago there was a different staff that was very friendly. The manager was a larger man who always ensured all the customers and his staff were taken care of and it saddens me that the current staff pales...

As a manager. I don't like when I get rude costumer service la senora mayor con lentes es Bien grosera para Su edad deberia de ser mas gentil. Voy aqui porque vivo cercas but eveytime I ask her to put refried beans in my burrito she clearly has a problem and says they don't have any but get ths my super nachos will have some. That's one of many the other time she said SI esta bien.so I get home and there's nooo beans inside my burrito como es ESO..y la Otra vez ordene un side de frijol y arroz for my kid y me dice de Nuevo que no hay refritos para mi burrito so I said ok enteros is fine. Because anyways my kid likes enteros so tell me why she put refried in the side orders of beans & rice and in my burrito enteros and my nachos with refried like wth and ths Friday did it my familia loves the food but her modo kills it..I called ordered my food and Ieft the burrito to till end and I told. Her que queria mi burrito con frijoles refritos and she says aaahh no hay y yo le dijo entonces que clase de frijoles le pensava poner a mis nachos y se quedo tartemuriamdo que. Enteros Les cobran los frijoles also empleadoss ? I'm telling u manager to manger you have to check your employees time to times not always is the customer right but if we are paying come on I refry beans no es nada duro. Thank u...

I have been going to this location every day after work for 3 weeks. I just get a super taco and a modelo Especial. I get the same thing on a routine basis but couple days ago I was charged $11.13 and on a seperate charge I was charged an additional $23.14. I came back to the restaurant as per my routine yesterday and also addressed the over charge to an employee. She said there was nothing she could do and that I had to talk to the manager. I work 7am-530pm and its hard to catch the manager. I let it go and figured its not worth the hassle. But I looked at my bank statement again today and the employee did the same thing with the exact same over charge. Now I'm seeking immediate refund or else I'll have to report it to local authorities: two super tacos and two beers should not cost $69 and some cents. I kept all my reciepts.

Other than this issue, I love the food and service! I will continue to do my routine but I need those two overcharges...
