Multiple sandwiches ordered by phone were made correctly, e.g. no tomatoes, extra pickles whatever. This ranks very high with me. This is why I'm not going to give a two star rating. However the customer service at pick-up was weak on my two recent visits. The first time, (09-Jan-2021 2:20:19P) [transaction 434491] I arrived before the sandwiches were ready so after confirming the order and paying inside the shop I waited outside as instructed. PLEASE NOTE THAT I DID TIP. I had been told that it would be maybe a three to five minute wait. Understand that they bring the to-go orders out to you and call your name or maybe the order number. I questioned an employee outside after 20 minutes of watching other people get their orders served. #152 should be ready soon. After another 10 minutes I checked inside and the manager was helpful in discovering that the sandwiches were ready and sitting up on the counter. I strongly suspect that they had been forgotten. I mean, after all I had asked about #152 about 10 minutes before. Hmm... there's a guy who is waiting for an order and there are there sandwiches sitting on the counter so maybe there's a chance that there's a connection between these things. On the other hand if the sandwiches were in fact not yet ready when the worker went into the shop to check then I would think that they would have brought them out right away the instant they were ready, like for any other order. So anyway, I was given the sandwiches after perhaps 30 minutes of useless waiting overall but nobody explained that I had to get the chips and potato salad myself. OK, it's just one data point. The second time I visited (about a week later) I arrived just a few minutes after the sandwiches were ready so there was no waiting but I had to basically walk the guy through the order in terms of how many bags of chips and sides were requested. It seemed like he was too busy to read the order and ring it up right. NO TIP this time. I was given a customer loyalty card with a stamp for each of the sandwiches but that just makes me wonder why I didn't get that on January 9th. I'm still willing to shop here again so I'm giving...

Read moreBEWARE!! They do not honor their advertised price. I just tried to order the large sandwich platter which advertises "10 whole sandwiches cut in half. Choose from a variety of our most popular signature sandwiches."
First I talked to a sales lady who was very friendly. She told me the large is only 8 sandwiches. When I told her online it says 10 sandwiches cut in half she told me they can do two small platters and charge me for a large which would be 10 sandwiches. I said sure, makes no difference to me, and I placed my order.
5 minutes later I get a call back from the same lady informing me her boss won't let her do it, that they can do the large platter with 8 sandwiches and charge me for the remaining two, or they can do 10 sandwhiches but only basic ham and turkey sandwhiches, no sauces or anything special. Longer story shorter I ended up talking to the owner who kept giving me some excuse about how the website hasn't been updated. I said that isn't my issue, that is an internal issue they can take care of, but I want 10 signature sandwiches for 64.99$, as advertised, that they are supposed to honor. I explained to him if wal mart had a misprint and advertised a 100$ item for 10$, they would have to honor that 10$ price until they do a reprint. The OWNER then told me, "well then go to wal mart" and then hung up on me.
update** I called the sandwich spot on Stevens creek, they had no problem doing the advertised 10 specialty sandwiches for the advertised price. They are only about 2 miles from the Bascom location, so go to Stevens creek instead! The Bascom location also updated their website to show the large platter is now only 8 basic sandwiches, another reason to go to Stevens creek location, more sandwiches (and specialty sandwiches at that) for...
