Wingstop — Restaurant in San Jose

I came here the evening of 2/22/24 around 7:45 PM for a pick up order I didn’t walk out until a couple minutes before 8- which is fine when it’s busy, But it was not that busy (at least inside of the Restaurant) - 2 People were in the pick up area before me. They got their orders promptly from what I saw & Then, when I walked up, the staff members walked away & And started joking and laughing loudly in the cooking area I assumed that somebody would eventually say, How can we help you? But instead, they all stayed in the cooking area, while I just stood there-Nobody else came in, and they all clearly looked at me. A couple of the females rolled their eyes at me. I’m standing there, thinking like what the heck, but I stood there calmly Waiting- Then somebody walked in the Restaurant when I was coming up on 10 minutes of waiting & One of the guys immediately walked towards the register to help them - After he was done with them, I said Excuse me, I’ve been standing here for a while, and nobody has Said anything to me- I am here for my Order” Then a manager-type dude, walked out of nowhere and said “Oh Yeahh-how can we help you?” I intentionally gave a confusing look and said my name-The bag with my name on it was sitting there the entire time that I was waiting… we live a few minutes from the store, But by the time that we got home with the food, we had to reheat it

I definitely believe that this unnecessarily bad customer service was racially motivated & Bigotry was definitely involved

This is truly the best Wingstop location in South San Jose. I usually order to go and by the time I get home my food is still hot. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is usually pretty well kept, and the quality of the food is crave-worthy. They aren’t skimpy on the seasoning and actually give you extra fry seasoning upon request, which is the opposite of what I’ve consistently experienced at other locations. Last time I went there I tried the new smokey chipotle dry rub, and finally gave the hot honey dry rub a try as well, (I regretted only getting a few of the hot honey flavor) both are really good, but hot honey is my new favorite and go to since the elote flavor is gone. I was there for one hour hour and a half and they gave me the order wrong because they’re like talking like an hour and a half not doing nothing and they got my order wrong. They only got like barbecue tenders and that’s it even though Louisiana rub and classic fries and they gave me just barbecue tenders and I asked them why they take you so long and they’re like nothing and I always got mad so it was good and they give me the Louisiana for free, but they can’t be talking while working because there was more customers waiting.
