Yuri Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in San Jose

After work, I wanted to have a nice warm noodle soup, googled and found this one with nice rating. Went into the restaurant, very cozy one. Only couple tables in the restaurant, and few servers. It's totally not busy at all. I had one customer ahead me for her takeout, the guy who was helping her looked at me then turned over to help that customer without saying hi. Another waitress standing beside him didn't even look to their door to see if somebody getting into the restaurant. The other waitress starting from I was in the restaurant, she just stood by the back side computer, leaving her back to the front. A woman walked in after me and asked:"R u in line for takeout?" I said: "No, I'm waiting to be seated." So she walked to the front starting talk to the guy about her takeout. The guy just pretending he never saw me there. At the time one waitress walked to the front table, picked up the phone, and I was still invisible. Now another woman walked bypass me towards to that guy, and I was standing there as nobody. So I said:"Excuse me, sir, I'm standing here for more than 5 minutes, sounds like I'm nobody here?" And after I repeated myself twice, now he turned over say: "How may we help?" I have Been going there for more than 20 years. It is My brother Samer's Favorite restaurant hands down. He goes there 3 to 4 times a week. We usually sit at the bar, best seat in the restaurant. lots of guest sushi creations special menu is dedicated to them, lots of them from my brother! Freshest sushi, great service. Fast service, reasonable prices. Yuri's is always delicious. Great selections of Sushi, cocktail, beer, wine and sake. The staff greets you as you walk in and service is great. If I could I'd give this place no stars me and my boyfriend walked in and got sat at a table and were completely left there. The table in front of us was getting waited on, we right away knew what we wanted and no one approached our table to check on us. We decided to get take out and so the waitress who seated us took our order and left us at the front desk . We thought it was maybe because we were only two people so she felt no need to serve us as quickly as she served the table of 6 across from us who came in AFTER we did. But a party of two men walk in so she seats them right away AT THE EXACT SAME TABLE SHE GAVE US, and tended to the right after seating them.
