6/19/2025 What an amazing lunch at Trevor's today. We started with Margaritas with chips and salsa. Guillermo and Isaiah provided stellar service. Guillermo was our main server and was simply fantastic. The ambiance is so nice and we sat at the outdoor bar area with a view of the Dos Lagos area and the Metro Link area. For our entrees my wife had the Seoul bowl and I had the chicken milanese. Both dishes were fantastic. I also had a chance to say hello to Trevor and he is always busy and working hard at his establishment. The overall dining experience was wonderful. Great food, great service and wonderful people. The background music is also very nice. Highly recommended.
7/5/2024 Had a fantastic lunch today at Trevor's! We sat at the bar, and Eddie was phenomenal relative to service, knowledge, and demeanor. We started with Tequilla drinks and chips/salsa. The drinks were fantastic. We then ordered our entrees, and my wife ordered the Cobb salad customized with grilled chicken breast, etc. I had the salmon entree. Both dishes were presented well and quite tasty. The ambiance was positive, cool, and enlightening. We took a stroll in the area after lunch, and it was a very pleasant time. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful lunch today at Trevor's in SJC. The outdoor seating was very nice as we had terrific weather. Courtney was our server and was quite efficient, attentive, professional, and friendly. We started with drinks, chips, and salsa. The 3-person band was fantastic and played some terrific songs from the past. We then ordered our entrees. My wife had the chicken sandwich with fries, and I had a cup of seafood Chowder and the chicken strips. The ambiance was pleasant and positive with a cool vibe. Good food, people, and music. Highly recommended.
Previous visit Stopped by Trevor's last night for dinner as the weather was perfect. We sat outside and had a nice table near the musician who was quite talented. Glenn was our server and he was quite professional and very matter of fact. We started with drinks and an appetizer although had to send the first appetizer back due to a sanitary concern. The dish was immediately taken away and a new appetizer brought out with an apology from Glenn. Stuff happens and he was very gracious and sincere. We ordered dinner and I had the filet mignon plate which was delicious. My wife was in the mood for a burger and thoroughly enjoyed her dish. We capped the evening with a Mexican coffee and berries and cream which were quite tasty. Kudos to Danielle for her amazing deserts as the cream was heavenly. A wonderful place to dine with an amazing ambiance and vibe. Recommended
4/27/22 What an awesome Wednesday evening with an early dinner at Trevor's. We started with drinks and just enjoying the ambiance and weather while browsing the wide array of fantastic dishes on the menu. Micah was our waiter and quite professional. My wife ordered the Sea Bass entree and I ordered the short rib plate. Both were simply fantastic relative to presentation, portion, temperature and taste. We also had an opportunity to talk with Trevor, the owner, who you often see helping serve, greet tables, arrange tables, heaters ans umbrellas etc. Trevor is quite humble and I praised him for the outstanding menu dishes, staff, service and musicians. He is quite proud of his 6 years at that location and you can clearly see and feel his commitment to excellence. My wife and I enjoyed the evening's entertainment as well and also finished out visit with a piece of Basque cheesecake that we shared...OMG it was amazing. Great evening, great food, great people and yes a GREAT PLACE!...
Read moreTaking the train from north Orange County to San Juan Capistrano was an experience that felt like stepping back in time while embracing the convenience of modern travel. The ride itself was peaceful, with views of Southern California’s varied landscapes flashing by—suburbs giving way to stretches of open space and eventually leading into the historic charm of San Juan Capistrano. Once I arrived, I made my way to a charming restaurant located just steps away from the train station. The outdoor patio, which overlooks the iconic station, offered the perfect vantage point to take in the timeless atmosphere of the area while enjoying an exceptional meal.
The restaurant’s design masterfully integrates the train station’s vintage charm with a modern, elevated aesthetic. From the moment I stepped onto the patio, I was struck by how seamlessly the ambiance captured both history and sophistication. The glow of string lights overhead, combined with the gentle hum of conversation and the occasional distant whistle of a passing train, created a warm and inviting atmosphere that felt both lively and tranquil. It was the kind of place where you could easily lose track of time, immersed in good company and even better food.
The menu was nothing short of delightful, offering a range of thoughtfully crafted dishes that showcased fresh, vibrant ingredients and bold flavors. Each bite felt intentional, as though the chef had carefully curated every element to create a perfect balance of taste and texture. Choosing just one dish was nearly impossible, as every option seemed more enticing than the last. To complement the meal, the cocktail menu offered an impressive selection of handcrafted drinks, each as beautiful as it was delicious. The mixologists clearly knew their craft, creating beverages that weren’t just drinks—they were experiences in their own right. Every sip seemed to melt away the stresses of the day, leaving only the joy of the moment.
Dining on the patio added an extra layer of magic to the evening. The open-air setting allowed me to fully appreciate the charm of the surrounding area. I could see the station’s historic architecture lit up against the night sky, its timeless beauty reminding me of a bygone era while I sat comfortably in the present. The cool evening breeze carried with it the faint scent of nearby gardens, further enhancing the sensory experience. The soft glow of candlelight on the tables and the gentle murmur of trains arriving and departing in the distance added a cinematic quality to the evening, as though I were part of a story unfolding in this enchanting setting.
Overall, the night was a perfect blend of history, ambiance, and culinary excellence. Taking the train and dining at this incredible spot wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience that engaged all the senses, leaving me feeling relaxed, inspired, and eager to return. It’s the kind of outing that reminds you to slow down, savor the moment, and appreciate the beauty of the simple yet extraordinary...
Read moreI recently got married at Trevor’s at the Tracks and it was better than I could ever hope for, thanks to Rachel and the rest of the team.
I wanted to get married in San Juan Capistrano with an intimate wedding that did not require a whole wedding venue and Trevor’s ended up being the perfect spot for this occasion. We held the ceremony in the front entrance patio area with a gorgeous wall filled with plants. The team at Trevor’s moved the furniture out of this space to accommodate the ceremony and photos and also had welcome champagne ready for our guests upon arrival. The ceremony, although in a mostly public area, ended up feeling so special and intimate.
We then had cocktail hour and dinner in the Heritage Hall/Room. This room was able to accommodate 35 guests (and is wheelchair accessible) with 2 long tables and a sweetheart table, in addition to plenty of other space for cocktail hour. This room also has a private bar which was super helpful for guests to order drinks throughout the night. Both the bartender and servers that assisted with our event that night were incredible with their patience, attention to detail, and overall quality service provided to each one of our guests!
Every appetizer that went around for cocktail hour was delicious. I highly recommend the sliders, ahi poke, risotto, and bruschetta. Dinner was also delicious and beautifully plated. I had so many guests rave about the food and how delicious their meals were. I also had many guests compliment the Heritage Hall space and how cozy/intimate it felt with the dimmed lighting and fireplace. Overall, it was a success and everyone left happily stuffed.
From start to finish, Rachel was attentive, prompt with her response, helpful, organized and overall a true pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond time and time again with every change or last minute detail to help make my wedding day everything I could hope for. Rachel assisted with menu selection/review, alcohol selection/review, room setup/decor, and logistics throughout the night of the wedding. She focused on all of the details to make the day special, for example, she brought 2 of each appetizer during cocktail hour to our Sweetheart table to ensure we would be able to try each & eat since we were busy with guests throughout most of this time. She truly acted as a day-of wedding coordinator for me on top of her other work and I just can’t express my gratitude enough. Trevor’s is very lucky to have Rachel as the Director of Private Dining!
Thank you so much again to Rachel and the team at Trevor’s for accommodating our wedding. It truly was a day I will never forget and can look back with gratitude for all the efforts put forth...
