Burrillos College Park — Restaurant in San Juan

Decidimos probar Burrillos hace unos días, y para ahorrar tiempo, pusimos la orden en línea. El sistema nos indicó que estaría listo en 30 minutos. A los 30 minutos fuimos a recoger. La ventanilla de recogido estaba cerrada y sin signos de vida o actividad. No había ningún letrero indicando qué hacer ni cómo recoger la orden. Así que a falta de opciones, tuvimos que meternos en la fila de Servi-carro. En esa fila cada orden se toma, se prepara y se despacha por orden de llegada. De modo que allí tuvimos que esperar otros 40 minutos hasta que finalmente pudimos llegar a la ventanilla a recoger nuestra orden. Cuando llegamos allí, y preguntamos que cuál es la ventaja de ordenar en línea si igual tráiganos qué hacer la fila completa del serví-carro, la encargada dijo que debimos haber recogido por la ventanilla de despacho. Que podíamos haber tocado y llamado (¿a gritos?) desde allí. Y que estaban cortos de personal, lo que impedía que alguien estuviera atendiendo ese lado. No entiendo por qué, cuando llegamos al parlante del servi-carro y dijimos que habíamos ordenado en línea, no nos dijeron que fuéramos a la ventanilla de recogido. Hubiéramos podido ahorrarnos 20 minutos al menos. En fin, la comida: nada extraordinario. Son unos burritos generosamente rellenos, pero bastante sosos. Para alguien que espera al menos una aproximación a la rica y bien sazonada comida mexicana, o incluso Tex-Mex, la falta de sabor y sazón es decepcionante. No son malos, pero tampoco son buenos. Y en términos de comida “mexicana” o “tex-mex”, en Puerto Rico no faltan opciones, así que no veo razón alguna para volver. Incluso cualquiera de las taco-franquicias y Q-restaurantes ofrecen mejor valor...

Food is consistently good but the drive-thru is consistently slow. Prepare to wait in line for at least 15-20 minutes even when there’s very few cars before you. I had to call by phone while standing in the drive-thru line to actually get to order.

It was the first time I’ve had to do that but it hasn’t been the first time experiencing brutally slow service through the drive-thru. I’m sorry, but if you can’t offer a drive-thru with reasonable wait times then you might as well not offer a...

Yum! I heard about this place in Caguas and was so happy to see them open a place in Guaynabo. I love that they have tofu as a vegetarian option. We had the tofu nachos and the burriqueño burrito (carnitas). The servings are huge and the prices are very reasonable - around $7-8. This location in particular has a drive-thru making it very convenient. I am happy to see young people reinventing themselves with these food trucks. Loved it....
