We decided to skip the traditional wedding cake and go with a donut wall for our big day—and GD Cakes absolutely nailed it. They were so easy to work with throughout the planning process and brought our vision to life with a beautifully designed, delicious display that matched our wedding décor perfectly.

The donuts not only looked stunning on the wall (and made for such fun photo moments), but they also tasted amazing! It was such a unique touch that our guests loved, and it felt very "us" as a couple.

We used GD Cakes for the wedding cake and desserts at our daughter's wedding. They were amazing for a number of reasons. First, as we were going to decorate the cake ourselves, we had to coordinate the delivery to ensure we had enough time before the event to complete the decorations. GD Cakes was extremely accommodating and delivered, and assembled, the cake when we needed it to be there. Also, the cake was absolutely delicious!! And second, all of the other desserts, which included mini cupcakes, macarons, chocolate covered strawberries, cake truffles and mini cheesecakes, were spectacular! Mi experiencia en este restaurante fue extremadamente decepcionante. Desde el momento en que llegué con mi amiga, la falta de atención fue evidente. A pesar de que éramos una de las dos mesas ocupadas en un espacio pequeño y notorio, tuvimos que esperar más de 15 minutos para ser atendidas, sin un simple saludo de bienvenida.

Mi elección fue un sándwich abierto con burrata, ya que me llamaron la atención los ingredientes. Sin embargo, cuando probé el plato, estaba abrumadoramente saturado de limón, un ingrediente que no estaba mencionado en el menú. Esta experiencia arruinó mi paladar.

Cuando llamé a la mesera para expresar mi descontento y preguntar si se podía hacer algo al respecto, le pregunté si podía cambiarlo por una sopa de calabaza, y ella aceptó hacerlo. Opté por la sopa, que resultó ser una mejora, aunque no espectacular. Lo que realmente me molestó fue que la mesera no nos ofreció agua ni ningún tipo de bebida, y desapareció durante largos períodos.

La situación empeoró cuando, al recibir la cuenta, me cobraron la burrata, que era considerablemente más cara que la sopa. Cuando señalé esto, la mesera argumentó que debía pagar por la burrata porque era más costosa, a pesar de que había aceptado cambiar mi pedido. Su actitud intransigente me dejó muy insatisfecha, especialmente considerando su falta de atención previa.

Además, el café rosita que pedí tenía un sabor desagradable, y los pétalos en la bebida no ayudaron en absoluto.

En resumen, esta experiencia me dejó con una sensación de que fui tratada de manera injusta y poco profesional. Es lamentable que situaciones como esta sean comunes en restaurantes que priorizan su estética “cute”. En definitiva, me siento como si me hubieran estafado y no puedo...
