Panadería Pannera — Restaurant in San Juan

Incredibly frustrating experience the last time I went here where I waited almost an hour for a Cubano sandwich. The place was fairly busy but orders were going out at a very steady pace, and the kitchen had at least 6 people working it. I ordered a drink to pass the time and after about 25 minutes I went up to the counter where orders are handed over and asked the gentleman about mine. His answer was "there's too many orders right now and they keep coming in, it's gonna take a while", no further intention to check up on it. I kept seeing how sandwiches and other dishes kept going out and after about 25 more minutes I stood up again. This time I was visibly frustrated and the women who were at the counter checked only to find my sandwich sitting in a totally different area to where the orders are supposed to go out, and it had sat there for who knows how long. I took it and left, and they ran after me outside to give me another of the same drink to try and make it up to me. Sorry, but I'm not gonna be bought with a free parcha juice. Not coming...

Not a bad place as every time we go to PR we get our breakfast there. They have there days ones good others not. This time been having breakfast since the 1 of November but the wait was long as they have been having problems with their registers and they don’t have an alternate plan and keep their customers waiting until the computer comes back on line which creates a long line and long waiting time that maybe customers don’t have. Owner at the location but nothing been done. There should be an alternate method when those inconveniences arise in order to keep it moving. Besides...

I love the bread in here is delicious. The food is good, the attention and the service are great. Very nice place to go. I will recommend the scrambled eggs with vegetables and Swiss cheese. They serve so much that there is no way that by the time you leave you still hungry. We have go to many different restaurants (panaderías) and when we leave we still hungry.
