Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in San Luis Obispo

First I usually dont get fries here because they taste weird but i ordered them this time and was sorry. Had a bad taste.

Dont send someone to pick up your order. I went to pick up my daughters Door Dash order as i ordered mine and the counter person Isabel refused to let me take it. Then Juan the shift leader wouldnt release it. Bad bad service. Stay away.

What really got us was when my daughter asked for a refund they gave it to her without checking ID. So they wont give the order to the person who is on speaker phone with the customer and shows a screen shot of the order but they gave a refund to her without checking who she was. Not only that but he shorted her on the refund.

I am DONE with Carls Jr even though I have eaten here for years. They lost her as a customer too.

Lastly we walked across the way for her to get Taco Bell and when we came back to our cars the counter person was escorting an older customer out the door and shut it behind him.... half hour before closing. With bad customer service, poor management, odd tasting food, poor reviews, and erratic hours, i wonder how they...

They manage to make my order incorrect every time. My bad for trying to go back. First of all, when I walked in to grab my order the manager guy was being short and rude with an employee he appeared to be training. I ordered online and got a burger with no onions American cheese or tomato, and add pepper jack and classic sauce. I somehow got a burger with onions, tomato, and American cheese with no pepper jack or classic sauce. Somehow completely backwards. I had to drive all the way back to get it fixed and it took up my entire lunch break and now I don't even get to eat the food that I still paid full price for and had to drive twice to get. I tried taking a bite out of it while rushing back to work and I literally gagged and spit it out. I watched them make it and it tastes like it’s 5 days old. Well, as much as I hate to jeopardize anybody's employment, I think this needs to be said. The couple before me walked out, out of frustration. The woman behind the counter was having a hard time convincing the customer that what she wanted wasn't available. I ordered my food and sat down. It came in a decent amount of time. The food didn't taste quite how it usually does and the Dr. Pepper in the dispenser was either very or flat. There were no napkins in the dispenser. While I was eating my food the two women behind the counter talked loud enough to where I could hear their conversation in the back of the restaurant. One was complaining rather loudly about the management and how they treat everybody badly. That's fine to feel that way but don't let the customers hear...
