We spent a Friday just north of Edna Valley touring some if SLOs higher rated craft breweries and this was our absolute favorite. It was our favorite and we even came back the following Sunday afternoon for their awesome live entertainment. They have a great variety of brews and my favorite, after trying 4 in a flight, was the Cali Squeeze, a blood orange hefeweizen. Addicting!!!! And, they have an amazing pub food program. Even got to meet their executive chef and praise him for the great food pairing he has done. Flatbrad pizzas were popular but they also have beer battered items and beer cheese. Food was fresh and tasty. They even have sausage, pretzels, salads, tacos, smoked meets, pulled pork, and gourmet burgers and sandwiches. Bought some brews to go and they already have cans to go available for their most popular varities. Do yourself a favor and hit the brewery for both the brews and the...
Read moreI went to lunch today with some coworkers and ordered the brisket. When my coworker's brisket arrived I noticed it had bbq sauce, which I don't eat because I am on a low carb diet, and I don't care for it. I asked the waitress if they all come with bbq sauce and she said, "yes." She set my plate down in front of me and could clearly see I was upset. I asked her if it was on the menu that it had bbq sauce and she said, "yes." She was so rude to me, I'm pretty sure this was not the 1st time this has happened. On my way out I went to get water and just happened to look at the menu, and was surprised to see there was no mention of bbq sauce with the brisket. She totally lied to me!!! All my coworkers were in disbelief and I was totally upset, but in a hurry to get back to work. I gave it 2 stars only because they have a great place, the...
Read moreSLO Rock, this place has it all from brewing beers all the way to vodka, gin and Bourbon. My favorite beer in there is "still frothy" ipa awesome flavor and moderate hops clean and crisp. Food is amazing we had the American burger, the avocado bacon burger and a side of broccolini. All perfectly cook and seasoned the brewery has lots of space out side if wanting to have that. They have also Churro stout and chocolate banana stout, worth to enjoy a beer flight. Did I tell you that you can join their brewery most likely distillery club? For $1500 a year you can actually buy a barrel of Bourbon, vodka or gin (depends which run they are doing) after a year been aged you can either take the barrel home or they bottle it for you (about 28 bottles) with your label. I think it's pretty cool and in the bucket list...
