McDonald's — Restaurant in San Marcos

I had an experience today at the same McDonald’s that made me decide to eat somewhere else. The drive through attendant claimed that they have never made protein style lettuce wrapped burgers. I asked, since when? She said since FOREVER. I have purchased upwards of 50 lettuce wrapped burgers from this exact establishment... I’ve gotten two lettuce wrapped McDoubles for lunch 2-3 weekday every week, for the last 5 years, from various McDonald’s. In 5 years of purchasing these, I could not believe that she acted as if I was weird with a sarcastic tone, simply for wanting some lettuce rather bread.

Hire some new drive through staff and maybe I’ll come back again. Until then my business is going to a different McDonald’s. It’s nothing personal, I just don’t want someone who has such little respect handling my food...

I would have left a much lower review, but a few weeks ago, the manager on duty when I visited went way, way, out of his way to help me. My credit card had fallen into the donation slot outside the drive through and was for the most part, gone. This manager spent 20 minutes fishing it out. He didn’t give up. He eventually got it out with a pair of tongs. Not only was it an incredibly kind action, it was impressive to watch.

If the management or owner is reading this, I want to thank you for hiring the man that helped me get my card back. Very much appreciated in the form of loyal business. I’m sorry detour drive through assistant ruined...

So I came in on August 3 to get my normal breakfast like I do every morning and like an idiot I left $600 on the counter and couldn’t remember where I put it, Long story short I called in at approximately 8 PM and I asked the management and the employees if they happen to run across an envelope with $600 in it and think not only God that it was still there on the counter when the employee found it. They almost literally threw it in the trash And Mary one of the managers was such a sweetheart. She knew something about that envelope didn’t seem right so she opened it and saw $600 in there and held it to figure out maybe who it would belong to when I called. They literally knew exactly who I was and who would belong to so thank you so much for everybody’s honesty and being the greater part of this community we need more people like Mary and more people like the people that work here at this McDonald’s because honesty goes a long way and good karma goes a long way and not only that but they are always so gracious to me and my husband every morning when I come in for breakfast so...

I was on my way home from Poway and stopped by this McDonalds because my kids love it. I come through the drive thru and place my order with a new employee. I told him twice what my order is and he wasn't sure how to charge me. I then pull up to the window and a manager looking employee help to place my order right. I pull up to the pick up window and take my order. I get back on the freeway heading home (Murrieta) and my order was wrong. I tried to call the number on the receipt to tell them they messed up, but no one answered the phone. It just rang and I gave up after ten minutes. This location is bad with following through with the customers order. They had no problem taking my money, that's about the only thing they did do right actually. Avoid this place or dont leave until you thoroughly checked your order. Because nobodies going to...
