Came in at 5:50, seated at 5:55pm...place is pretty full. Ordered around 6:10, orders came at 6:45pm. Sheesh....fajita supreme has 2pcs of prawns, few pieces of beef and chicken and the rest vegetables for 20 dollars. It's totally dry meat and salty, portion of vegetables to meat 65 veggies:35 meat. The plate with rice and refried beans - dry uncooked rice, very salty refried beans...and the lady did not bring the tortilla..when we asked where is the tortilla..she replied "i did not bring because some people doesn't like" our order for your info is called supreme fajita.. gosh! She didn't even ask us for a fact. Another order is the crab enchilada for 7 dollars and more.. total disappoinment. Oh the sauce for the free chips soaked in rancid oil is super spicy...need i say more? This place is far from authentic mexican place we've been to and the price for food is way overpriced!!!! If you are not from this place and just looking for the reviews..beware it is deceiving. Food trucks are much...

I have been going to Fernandos for years.. i got my food to go today around 4:00 to go.. I live in San Jose so I didn’t eat it until I got home.. usually there food and service is excellent.. especially Maria.. however today it was terrible.. I couldn’t eat it.. the rice was a white color and the shredded beef enchiladas tasted terrible.. I called and ask to speak to the manager.. supposedly her name was Ginsella .. she said you can bring it back we won’t charge and bring the rice.. I said can I just get the rice next time I come in.. not asking to replace the whole meal, she said yes bring in the rice.. seriously? I let her know I would be writing a review and she didn’t care.. sadly to say I won’t be back and I hope they find a good manager, if she was the manager.. I will be following up with this.. it’s not like I paid for Taco Bell.. So disappointed… if I could post a picture, I would.. be more professional and kind to...

We started with fresh corn chips and homemade spicy salsa. My husband is a connoisseur of corn chips and salsa and said that these were on point. Next came our tasty tortilla soup and coleslaw. Then finally enchiladas and burritos which were hearty, wholesome and spiced to perfection. Apart from the fabulous and well priced food (we took home two to-go boxes) the service was attentive and warm. Our waitress cuddled our baby twice and told us that her granddaughter is the same age. This restaurant has a great mix of Mexican elements that amplified its authenticity, from the Mexican murals on the walls, people chatting around us in Spanish, the multicolored stained glass windows and hand-painted ceramic tiles on the tables. Very enjoyable...

Very good food. It was a little dark inside...but added to the old mom n pop feel...like the Godfather. 😀 Loved the tasty chili and cheese toppings. A lot of food served. Huge portions. Good crunch on the chips. We are from Texas and eat Mexican food about 3 to 4 times a week. This is good Mexican food. Worth the stop and a neat area away from the big city of San Francisco.

The food wasn’t bad, but nothing was exceptionally great. The quesadilla was good but not cut into triangles. Carne Asada taco was also good, they charge like $3+ extra for that meat. It came with a chicken and cheese soup that was amazing. We did wait a while for our check. Waiters were really nice.
