Limited flat grassy area however is a slight minus if you want to play field games, as is limited dedicated parking and walking accessibility (the park is at the edge of a hilly part of San Mateo) - A small spring-fed stream running through the park adds charm, but can also lead to mud, messes, and worse: child attentiveness is a must for parents bringing kids here.
