Kay’s Homemade Desserts — Restaurant in Sandwich Township

Heard goods things and tried them out this past week. I order some turtle and strawberry cheesecake cupcakes for a retirement party and they looked great and and tasted better. Everyone really enjoyed them and kept getting asked where I got them and where was kay's located, I think they may have more business coming there way. The staff was very friendly and couldn't have been nicer to my kids picking out donuts when I picked up the cupcakes. Will be using them for all my future work events...

Kay's Bakery is absolutely a reason to go to Somonauk. She makes everything from scratch --- you can see the kitchen in action right from the donut case! My favorites: maple bacon long johns (when I'm lucky enough to snag one), GIANT cookie dough brownies, GIANT cinnamon rolls (don't tell anyone I said they rival my mom's), and cranberry raisin power scones.
