My wife and I ordered 3 chicken tacos delivery via DoorDash form the Qdoba in Sandy Spring, Georgia. When we received the food, however, the tacos only had chicken and some sprinkled cheese. We called to see if, next time, we needed to specify that we wanted lettuce, tomato, etc., because there was no option online to do so. The key manager on duty, (Lucia I believe) was completely disrespectful from the beginning. She would not let my wife speak and continued to state that it was our fault for not specifying what we wanted on the taco. We asked if we could have the tacos re-made, and we were told the only way they would remake the tacos, is if we drove out to the physical store location, show them the tacos, and they would then remake them. Not only is the entire mantra of most every store in America, "The Customer is Always Right," but to say the only way to have our food remade is to drive, during a pandemic, to the store to prove to them that these tacos were in fact not what we wanted, is, in my opinion, unsafe to say the least. And what is worse, is when I drove down to the store location, I was given the number of the GM at the store, Maria, who promptly disagreed with everything I said. She stated, "It is company-wide policy for every single order that is incorrect, in order to receive a new order, we MUST have the old order for Quality Control. " Never in my life have I had a restaurant manager say that to me. Any other location, any other franchise, any other restaurant, I guarantee, would have handled this differently. Disheartened, to say the least, is absolutely how my wife and I feel. We both work remotely, and because of certain health conditions, we are unable to leave our home very often because of COVID. We have ordered countless times from all sorts of restaurants, and have never received such poor treatment, let alone, force us to drive out to show them 3 taco shells with some chicken. Attached is a picture of the...
Read moreAfter my wife placed an online order for 7:00 pm pick up I arrived at roughly 6:55 pm. Initially I was patient at my food not being ready as they continued to serve customers in line, but then I noticed exactly how many people were waiting at the order pick up area who had not received their food. Despite this, they continued to serve customers in line. Come to find out that one of the men waiting had an order pickup time of 6:45 pm, and as of 7:10 he had still not received his food as they continued to make orders exclusively for people standing in line. Eventually myself and that man challenged them on this, with him saying "should I just get in line then? Are you serving customers in line before those of us who put in online orders? That's backwards". He was rudely told back "that's up to you sir, you can if you want" like they weren't doing anything wrong. Finally, I received my order 20 minutes late at 7:20 after 20 minutes of them refusing to work on my order that was supposed to be ready at 7:00, and only after there was not a single customer left waiting in line.
On top of that, my wife found a ball of hair in one of her bowls, which I question whether or not that was intentional. This is only probably the second or third complaint I've ever left on a restaurant in my life. It was just that bad.
This visit was on Tuesday, October 31st 2023. If you must go here, don't bother putting in an online order. It's pointless. Just...
Read moreCan’t believe the experience I had from the ‘’manager ‘’ who was making the food . I had driven about 45 min to get to this location on a busy Friday afternoon . I ordered 3 tacos and a cheese dip which the lady made and asked me if I wanted to add anything else I declined and said ‘’ no thank you ‘’ . She passed the food to the guy at the cash register and he politely repeated my order and asked me ‘’is that all for you ma’am , would you like something to drink ?’’ The ‘’manager ‘’responded before I had a chance to and said ‘’ No she doesn’t want a drink she has Hennessy at the house . ‘’ I was in shock !! I told her that ‘’ I don’t even drink , why would you assume that ?’’ . I did pay for my food and leave but I’m not going to lie I was so upset and regretted that I did . I called after I left the restaurant and asked for the supervisor and it was in fact the woman who made the racial profiling comment . I am an African American female btw . She was a Hispanic older woman . On the phone she said she made the comment because ‘’ it was Friday so people like to drink on Friday nights ‘’ . Made no sense whatsover . If you are the manager why is it ok for you to make racially profiling assumptions especially in front of you’re employees ? I will never patronize this restaurant again and I’ve already begun to tell my friends and coworkers . That was unacceptable . She should be held...
