Taylor was rude on the phone when I was giving him my address. I had moved in a few days before, and it is actually an older building. So when Taylor was unable to find my address in the computer I was really confused because these apartments have been here 20-30 plus years. I could tell that he just didn't believe me, and thought I was probably just giving him an intersection. Keep in mind I've been in the service industry for years, so what I'm telling you a lot of people would just not even notice, or just be unsatisfied and never order again. So he finally just takes the address says fine overrides it, and I place my order. I ordered a meatball sub, and some chicken wings. I asked him if he could cook some onions on the meatball sub because I thought that sounded good and he said okay no problem. I get my order and I start to eat the meatball sub and I just noticed extremely overcooked onions in the first bite by the second or third bite I was eating raw onion and raw onion actually gives me an allergic reaction. That's when I got thinking those onions could have been from like the drip pan on the oven and he could have thought ok here's your cooked onions, because it's exactly what happened. I mean these onions were black and greasy and the cooked onion was not the same temperature as the rest of the food. So, the meatball sub I realize had a lot of raw onion on it, so I ate a bunch of the chicken wings and then go to work. A few hours into my shift I start throwing up and I know it's because I ate the rotten onions that were on the meatball sub. When I made the order over the phone I asked him if he could cook some onions on the meatball sub. Easy to scrape some onions off of the grease pan put them on the after the sub came through the oven he throw raw onion on it and then took some greasy onions out of the grease pan and put them on the top so when you present the sandwich when you open it in the first few bites were of cooked onions but they'd been, you could just tell, they were, it was disgusting, it was absolutely disgusting. So I know the sub made me sick and the raw onion allergy is more like a rash hives thing going on in my throat, so that just really sucked but I was like yeah whatever you know he played his game, and I knew I was going to do a review on his behavior then. The next day I go to reheat the rest of the chicken wings, and I noticed on one of the drumsticks and I actually took a picture of this because this you would actually have to try and work to make this happen but in one of the big drumsticks there was a good piece of the same baked onion, the nasty greasy cooked onion, that came out of a grease pan, was wedged up inside under the meat where you would take a bite. When the drumstick cooks sometimes it splits while there was a cooked onion wedged up in there and I noticed it when I threw the leftover wings in the microwave reheated them for like a minute. I was in a hurry and I pulled him out and when you microwave meat water evaporates and the meat shrinks a little bit. Well, doing that causes the onion to stick out a little bit and I'm like what is that dark thing poking out? These are buffalo wings, and then you got this like black caramel looking thing coming out the side I'm like what the hell is that. Already feeling sick because I knew what it was. I pulled the wing apart and sure enough it's a piece of that onion. I'mpretty sure the guy that I had the phone call with and when you said what's your address and I'm like I don't know what to tell you I just moved in in this building and it has been here forever. I just would like some food please. He retaliated. I took a picture of the chicken wings because keep in mind I've been in service for years so what I'm telling you a lot of people would just not even notice or just be unsatisfied and would never order again. I haven't contacted the health...
Read moreI really started out liking Marco's but they have changed my mind. I ordered a couple of pizzas and over an hour and a half the pizza didn't show. I wasn't worried just thought they were busy and called only to be told that the driver couldn't find my house and asked me if I was by the mountains (ridiculous based on my address). I explained that I live right on 700 E and that I was less than 3 mins drive from their building. At this point apparently the driver just decided to go back to the store and not deliver our pizza's at all. As you might imagine I was mad and the night manager Elijah's solution was to give me half off if I wanted to come pick the pizza up which by this point was over an hour old and been driven all over hell and back. I asked what else they could do and I was told "they could remake it and the same guy would try and deliver it again but that he didn't want to do that because again my house was too hard to find" I asked them to refund my money and the next morning called and spoke with the manager to confirm it was refunded she did explain yes she did see the transaction voided but didn't seem all too concerned that I had been put through this multi-hour ordeal and all I got was a flat "sorry are system has been screwing up". They never offered anything to smooth things over like a discount or free pizza etc. I should point out at this point that not only is my house as obvious as a strip mall because again I live right on 700 E but we even gave additional instructions that detailed the cars in front of our house and even the color of the house and they still couldn't make it work. I know it may seem trivial but after 3 hours of an ordeal and going to bed hungry a flat and cold sorry didn't cut it for me. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and I'm sad to see this new pizza place that we really treat us as if this was our fault. My suggestion either stand outside and wave the guy in or save yourself the trouble and spend your money elsewhere, at least Domino's kind find the most obvious...
Read moreThis place is absolutely terrible. Can't say how many deliveries I've had that are disgusting and food is undercooked and dough is horrible. Plus sometimes drivers forget to bring pepper and parm when it's asked for lol. I did pizza delivery for 3 years before changing jobs and man, it's REALLY hard to bring simple things people ask for( it's simple ). Anyways. I gave up on delivery and started to try for pickup. So... I picked up and it was undercooked and the BBQ chicken me and my friend ordered fell apart on us as we ate it outside marcos sit down. We went in and complained and they said "we did our best" then remade our bbq chicken and It was the exact same thing. I showed them since we ate there. Then the general manager told me "this marcos location struggles extremely bad and its honestly best if you don't order from us based on our low quality of items and staffing issues" he told me "the chicken will most likely make you sick and the dough will always be low quality due to poor demand" . I will never come here again and honestly there is a couple pizza places not too far away that are actually legitimate. Don't go here. I feel bad for anyone who eats here. Coming from a 30 yr old who isn't a picky stingy person. Marcos really just isn't good at this location. You'll be stoked to avoid it. I am absolutely blown away that a general manager would say that to me about their own company even with the quality being so bad. This must mean it's REALLY bad and you really shouldn't eat here so they lose money and shut down. There needs to be a more legitimate food joint in...
